Pete’s is absolutely awesome, we got two dozen large male steamed crabs. We called ahead and our order was ready exactly on time and they were cooked perfectly, all of the crabs were LOADED with meat and very full. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful also, I wouldn’t go anywhere else to get crabs. Pete’s is also very competitively priced for the area and super convenient

I wish I could give them zero stars. I ordered a half bushel of large female crabs and received small crabs with no weight. When I spoke with the owner he was condescending, not remorseful, and offered no solution. It’s shameful when establishments like this swindle hard working people out of their money.

Bought mediums & corn last weekend. Spice mix on the crabs was spot on and not skimpy. Corn was out of this world good. Prices beat the other 2 crab places west on Joppa Road significantly. Do not sleep on Pete’s a diamond in the rough.

I’ve visited this crab house twice now. I have to say they were pretty good. Good amount of seasoning and were piping hot , corn wasn’t bad, and crabs had a nice flavor, however, I don’t think the sizes coincides with the pricing and displays. On Memorial Day I ordered large that were more like a light medium and yesterday I ordered medium that were more like smalls. They tasted good but disappointing for the size. They are close by my house so at least I have a backup place if I can’t get them somewhere else.

Editing this a few years later to say, I’ve never had a bad batch from Pete’s. I’ve been here probably 10 times, and every single time, from a dozen to a bushel, the crabs are perfectly cooked, full, fresh with nice yellow mustard, and seasoned well. Best place in the area.
