I now understand why they started to take reservations and has plenty of parking. It used to be not this way. What place shuts down at 8 pm on a Saturday night???

While the service is friendly and professional, the food works to be average at best. I ordered the Monte Christo sandwich. It has too thick cut of turkey and the raspberry sauce was thin and runny. Note really dusted with powder sugar. The onion rings were not worth warming up the next day. The beef stroganoff didn’t have egg noodles and the beef looked more like hamburger.

The menu has the norms of beef, chicken, and fish. Good choice of salads and sandwiches. The daily specials is almost as long as the regular menu.

I had heard good things about this place and wondered why or what happened. Will not be back.

Stopped in for dinner after a long day with the family, atmosphere is nice, the food is ok. I’m more of a fan of strong rich flavors though so I won’t take that away from them. Our waitress was very attentive and pleasant. All in all it was a good experience.

The mushroom soup the Buffalo Shrimp Pasta with a side salad.
they make on Fridays and Saturdays is so good that I would go back just to eat it. Made with butter, cream, and fresh mushrooms.My only wish is that I had received a bowl instead of a cup. It’s one of the greatest soups I’ve ever had at a restaurant, let alone a pub, and it’s topped with delicious seasoned croutons. This is a must-have if you enjoy mushroom soup. They make their blend, and each of us got margaritas, which were slightly sweet but not too much. My mother ordered the turkey reuben and sweet potato fries, while I had the patty melt with fries.

We were recommended by a friend of ours and flew to Detroit for my husband’s father’s memorial service. The staff were very accommodating and we loved chef/owner Zack.

They accommodated our party and even allowed us to bring in our large bouquets from the memorial service.

The food was delicious as well.

I have eaten here several times and I have never been disappointed. Casual dining is the norm here. A varied menu has been created with fresh ingredients. No canned foods or soups here. You will enjoy many items or you will return for a favorite. I just posted a pic of the Cuban sandwich. Phenomenal. Not dry and very tasty. The chips are made on site from fresh potatoes. Can be somewhat loud during busy times but worth it.

At least twice a year I meet a friend for lunch at Peterlins. It is a nice halfway spot between our houses, and we really like it! Our favorite thing on the menu is the Asian Salmon Salad. Our server last week was Kelsey, and she was friendly and attentive!

This is a great bar for food. Homemade everything and great service, plenty of space for larger groups, and you don’t have to make a reservation. Perfect. They have an area that is more inside, and an area with lots of windows as well.

The mushroom soup they make on Fridays and Saturdays is an absolute must – it is so delicious, I’d return just for that. Made with fresh mushrooms, cream and butter; it’s perfectly seasoned and came out piping hot – I just wish I’d gotten a bowl rather than a cup! Topped with yummy seasoned croutons, it’s honestly one of the best soups I’ve had at a restaurant, let alone a bar. If you love mushroom soup, you must go get this. We both had margaritas, which were on the sweet side, but not overly so, and they make their mix. I had the patty melt and fries, and my Mom had the turkey reuben and sweet potato fries. Both were absolutely top notch. Excellent fresh bread, fresh cut potatoes fried crispy, and high quality meats. My burger was actually seasoned and so juicy; perfectly cooked medium well. The turkey on the reuben is real – none of that processed lunchmeat garbage. Everything came out fast and was hot and fresh off the grill and out of the fryer.

Peterlin’s is a perfect bar lunch, and their entree menu also looked really good – they have a ton of options, though not very vegetarian friendly, so be aware of that. If I lived closer, I’d for sure be a regular, and whenever I’m in Farmington, I’m definitely coming here.

I haven’t been here in a long time. I remembered the food was good but I didn’t remember how nice it was – atmosphere, service, and we even had some live dinner Music that was not too loud, we were still able to talk. Definitely coming more often. The specialty burgers were a really good size and awesome!

I absolutely love Peterlin’s and the food is always good. However, the other day I ordered the steak tip appetizers which is normally excellent.
But this time, they were not the big chunks of steak tips, rather small.And maybe not quite worth the price this time for the size and amount, my friend ordered the steak tip salad, which she said was excellent and it looked to be large bites of steak, extremely tender

This place has a great atmosphere and is consistently delicious. They have plenty of seating and a separate area from main dining room with a full seated bar. The menu has something for everyone and many for all. Zach, the owner, is very personable and a terrific chef. I have been eating here since they opened and so happy they are a well known staple in Farmington.
