After two years in Naples, I’ve grown used to being disappointed by so-called “high-end” restaurants — pretty rooms, mediocre food, and service that never quite delivers. So when I was recommended to Petars for New Year’s Eve, I went in with guarded expectations.
I was completely blown away.
Having worked in fine dining for years, I know exactly what a well-run kitchen looks like — calm, confident, precise. At Petars, the chefs never missed a beat. No chaos, no stress — just flawless execution.
The food was exceptional across the board. The crab cake was hands-down the best I’ve had in Naples: beautifully crisp on the outside, delicate and rich inside, letting the crab shine without unnecessary filler. The tripletail was cooked perfectly — moist, tender, and seasoned with a level of restraint that shows real confidence.
My girlfriend ordered the Caesar salad and pork belly with scallops. While the salad didn’t quite steal the show for her, the pork belly and scallops were absolute standouts. The scallops were melt-in-your-mouth perfection, seared just right, and the pork belly was flawless — rich, balanced, and indulgent without being heavy.
Petars delivers what so many restaurants here promise but fail to execute: precision, balance, and truly memorable food. This is fine dining done right — and it’s a place we’ll absolutely be returning to.

We haven’t been to Petar’s for a while and after our meal we are asking ourselves why? We brought a bottle of one of our favorite wines from home since the corking fee was extremely reasonable. We both started with the lobster bisque which was luxurious and perfectly balanced. I had the seafood pot pie special. This dish was comforting without muting the seafood and paired well with the warm golden crust. My husband had the pork belly and scallops. The scallops lightened the pork belly’s richness and the pork belly grounds the scallops delicacy. Great pairing! For dessert we shared the banana crepe which was the perfect finish to our meal. We will be back a lot sooner this time around!

Celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary at this amazing restaurant. After taking in the sunset at Barefoot Beach, we drove a few minutes inland to this gem in a shopping plaza off Bonita Beach Road.
We were the last searing inside with a great view of the open kitchen, but didn’t feel rushed. Our table was decorated with hearts, and Jodie was given a bouquet of mini roses with a handwritten note of congratulations and blessings. What an awesome and thoughtful touch!
Our night was started with a couple of delicious, craft cocktails (the Ginbiscus was our favorite), their take on a Caprese salad, and a tender Octopus appetizer special. What a wonderful beginning!
For dinner, we were delighted with their Ahi Tuna special and signature housemade Wagyu lasagna that were perfectly paired with a glass of wine each. The flavors of both dishes were exquisite and executed to perfection. Wish we saved room for dessert because they looked incredible too!
Everyone we came into contact with was very friendly, extremely professional, and incredibly passionate. Kudos to Chef and the entire Petar’s team!

ATTENTION TO DETAIL …whether it’s the amazing food or personalized service, it’s my absolute favorite restaurant! Everything I’ve had there is delicious (I most often order the daily special and am never disappointed with Chef Petar’s preparation). New favorite restaurant! Good-bye 5th Ave and 3rd!! Food was amazing! Fresh, Creative and nice variety. Something for everyone. So surprised when we walked in! (Small looking from the door of the strip mall, but beautiful and much bigger than expected inside) staff were all so attentive and lovely! Shared the beet salad (yum!) Also shared our entrees: the fish special (Triple Tail) Perfect! Short Ribs were tender and so tasty. We were full BUT did the crepes with berries and fresh creme for dessert (see puc)with cappuccino’s. So so so good!! Prices were very reasonable! Wine list was good too! Great story of the sweet couple that owns the restaurant! Real Gem!!!

My husband and I visited Petar’s for our anniversary dinner. I could not have imagined a better staff or restaurant to help us celebrate our special day. I had originally reserved an outdoor table for us, but underestimated how hot it would be. Luckily, their staff found us a table in the shade. They even surprised us with a beautiful bouquet of flowers!
We ordered the crab cake, beef short ribs, lasagna, pavlova, and chocolate cake. Everything was DELICIOUS, even the bread and butter before our meal. I cannot wait to come back one day! Well worth the price. Seriously, this is a must try in Bonita Springs!

We dined at Petar’s for dinner on Monday, January 12th. We had a group of five and were lucky to be seated at the “chef’s table” immediately adjacent to the open kitchen, right were chef/owner Petar stood and personally insured that each and every dish was right before being served. It was an absolute delight. I enjoyed the some of the best lamb chops I have ever had, cooked perfectly and expertly balanced with the mint polenta, roasted veggies, and demi glace. Another absolute hit was the seafood pot pie, a flavor bomb chock full of fresh clams, shrimp, scallops, and (I think) grouper. Every other item I watched go out to the other tables looked amazing. On top of it all, it was great to see how Petar interacted with his staff with firm guidance with firm guidance, kindness, and grace. I can’t wait to return to SW FL and dine here again!

Dined at Petar’s Restaurant in Bonita Springs and had an excellent experience. I tried the lamb and the mussels both dishes were incredibly tasty and well prepared. The flavors were rich and balanced, and you can tell the ingredients are top quality. The open kitchen adds a great touch, letting you see the care and skill that goes into every plate. Definitely a spot worth visiting for a delicious and memorable meal!

My family and I had a fantastic time this evening to Petar’s! The service was wonderful, both KC, our server, and Anna were attentive and kind, and everyone had the market special fish dishes which were all really great. The mushroom and spinach risotto in particular was quite delicious. And the desserts, even amongst a table of people who are not huge dessert people, was phenomenal. We will definitely be back when we are back in town, thank you all!

Anna and Petar are incredible at what they do. As Anna said herself “we love what we do”. If you haven’t tried Petar’s you are missing out! The culinary experience is amazing. My husband and I love the lasagna but tonight we tried the squash soup, crab cake, and lamb. It was all fantastic. We love sitting at the bar having a front row seat to the kitchen and how amazing Petar, Anna, and their staff orchestrate the preparation of the most delicious meals and memorable experience dining at their restaurant. This is a Bonita gem!
