I went to a Georgian night and it made the experience even more special. The khachapuri and khinkali were wonderful and the honey cake truly took a special place in my heart!
The food was absolutely delicious, and I’d like to highlight Egor (not the head chef) for his amazing dishes and truly individual approach. You can tell he puts care and attention into every plate, and it really makes a difference.
Also, a big shoutout to Alex the bartender the cocktails were fantastic! Perfectly balanced, beautifully presented, and honestly some of the best I’ve had.
And special thanks to our waiter Novruz for his attentiveness, courtesy, and excellent service. He made our dining experience even more comfortable and enjoyable.
I would also like to express my appreciation to Chef Danil for building such a wonderful team. It truly shows in every detail from the food to the service.
Great atmosphere, great service, and a team that clearly loves what they do. I’ll definitely be coming back!
The service was just as impressive. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made us feel valued from the moment we walked in. Everything came out on time, and they made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
If you’re looking for an amazing dining experience with both incredible food and top-tier service, Petal Restaurant is definitely the place to go. I highly recommend it and will absolutely be coming back!
We were blown away by how authentic and flavorful the dishes were — just like the food we enjoyed during our trip to Georgia last year. Every bite brought back travel memories!
The atmosphere is refined and upscale, yet the service remains warm and welcoming — a perfect balance.
If you’re into discovering new culinary experiences, I highly recommend checking out the new chef’s masterpieces. You won’t be disappointed!
Saxophone player was rad. He had good tunes, always on key. Came up to individual tables with some fun cruise ship vibes. He also sang and the dude is awesome.
The food was insanely delicious!!! 5 courses – every one was incredible. Tuna tartare was mind blowing, beet salad was beautifully presented and had cherries as well- unexpected and delicious, lobster was perfectly cooked, and the duck confit was wonderful. The red velvet cake for dessert was just the right amount of sweet and so so yummy.
HOWEVER, we were here for 4 hours. It was clear that there were about 2 servers for the entire restaurant and 1 of them had no idea what was going on- food came in and out and in and out without being served. It was comically bad. felt almost like we were being held hostage and it took almost an hour to receive our check, with almost 40 min to receive it from the first time we asked, and around 20 minutes to get our check back to us after we gave them the card. If you want to come here bring cash you can leave on the table when you’re ready to go.
We arrived at 6:30 and left after 10:00pm. it was difficult to get anyone’s attention and the servers were working so so hard. It was pure chaos. The tables near us and my husband and I bonded, we took a group photo when one of us finally escaped. We shared cutlery between tables who just sat and those who had been waiting for a 2nd/3rd course for like 2 hours. Many many many tables up and left after about an hour of waiting without receiving a first course
They were not good about dietary restrictions and appeared to almost not understand? I had to pay $40 extra for the only entree I could eat and even that came with a side I could not have.
Just pure chaos in every department. Everyone was giving it their all but it seemed like they were all drowning, and we along with them.
To top it all off the customer service was lacking- I think everyone should have had an additional glass of Prosecco/martini/something on the house for waiting for so long but there was nothing- I think the entire restaurant would have been happier! And we thought they might take something off the bill at the end? Nothing. A gift certificate for $10 off next time? No.
Any of that would have been enough to make it “feel right” and because the food was so good, maybe give it a second chance, but I’m not sure we will be able to after this experience
TLDR : great food, good vibes, bad service, bring cash, customer service needs improvement
We ordered khinkali with lamb and with beef-pork filling, Adjarian khachapuri, and lamb shashlik. Everything was incredibly delicious: juicy khinkali, the most delicious khachapuri, and the most tender lamb shashlik.
Huge thanks to Chef Egor and the whole team for this little gastronomic journey through Georgian cuisine. They were behind everything that was prepared that evening.
