I came here for the first time as I was in the area and it was great. Good service friendly staff clean bathrooms and great food. I got the Chicago style shaved steak sandwich and honestly it was amazing! Best steak sandwich Ive ever had hands down. The steak was SO tender and flavorful not all salty and it had no fat but melted in my mouth. Bravo guys keep up the great food. Stacked too with a very generous portion I was satisfied

We ordered the blackened sirloin alfredo. It was SO UNSEASONED. Bland. Mushrooms were gross, just chopped in half not sauteed, steak was over cooked, tough and not seasoned, pasta was good, sauce was decent, but not great. Coffee was bitter. Won’t be back. Definitely over hyped. The waiter saw my plate was still full and didn’t ask if anything was wrong. He brought a box for to go, (but steak will be going to my dog’s.) Just made sure to have the bill paid. Poor service , came to table once after 10 min of our plates being dropped onto table. Should have been back in less than 5 to see if we needed anything with our meals or how food was. I always leave a tip even if food is bad. I contemplated it this time and to tip was a struggle, but I still did. They didn’t deserve it.

Normally the food is pretty good here, especially their desserts. Don’t order the french fries. 7.99 for store bought fries that are reheated in an air fryer or oven, definitely not fried. They served me these even though it’s pretty clear they’re over cooked.

The food was absolutely mouth watering. The French onion soup came out bubbling hot. The flavor was so rich and savory. Carrie ordered the stromboli and I had the fish and chips. Both we’re great. The dough on the stromboli was thin and crisp. Every bite was filled with meat and toppings. The fish and chips were cooked with a light breading and the cole slaw had celery seed which was a great kick for me. Overall we loved having our 12th anniversary lunch at Pestos. Also Kobe our waiter did a outstanding job. He was on point with everything. Thank you.

Never been, first time and enjoyed the food so much! Atmosphere was small and kitch in the right way. Ordered the French Onion soup and it was flavorful, French dip all homemade and Waldorf salad was a wonderful surprise with dill & garlic in the chicken salad along with the brightness of the raspberry vinaigrette and grapes. Rachel served us and was a wonderful help and great! We ordered Coconut Cream Pie slice and Carrot Cake slice to go. When I go home I could not stop eating the dessert. Worth the stop! And wouldn’t hesitate to drive the hour to go again!

Updated with photos of the place and different plates, we went in for a dining experience and it was so lovely. Again the food is just so so very good. The service was amazing. Our server was Jeff, he was one of the best ever!!!
I really enjoyed my salad from here it was exactly what I had been looking for and craving. The pizza was great too that my partner ordered! Will definitely have to come in and dine sometime! We did a take out night 🙂

Pesto’s may be the hidden gem of Flint Township. Located in plain sight on the corner of Miller and Dye Road, next to a stone & dirt business, this quaint little restaurant is superb. The service was excellent, the food tasted fresh and the proportions were plentiful. We ordered the Pesto Slammer with French Onion Soup, the Blackened Chicken Ranch Wrap with Gumbo and the Chocolate Corruption for dessert. I can’t say enough about this small restaurant with big taste. It’s highly recommended!

I had the Sauteed Grouper which was nice. The fish was soft and blended well with the sauce and pasta. Our server was friendly, cooperative, and at times funny. We came as a group of eight with my girlfriend’s family. We had a fun time and the food was enjoyed by mostly everyone.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kind, fun, smart knows the menu inside out.
Plus lots of Rizz.
The food
OH the FOOD.
Several menu highlights I could’ve chose any.
I chose the Sirloin meatballs & Pasta, marinara.
Off the charts with flavor.
Plus several excellent meatballs.
It included garlic bread and a side salad that was huge.
( both provided leftovers)
Dessert, even if you don’t have room, grab some to go, we took a generous slice of Lemon Raspberry cake.
One of our group ordered seafood lasagna
Muffaletta
Another got the soup/ sandwich combo
Chicken lentil soup and the Wolverine.
The breads all have an artisan flair.
Here it is the day after, I’m plotting my next visit
If you’re driving up North it’s only a few minutes off of I-75 ~I-69.
So good, better than any chain.
