Outstanding stop on our Viator food tour. The deep fried snapper was an unexpected hit of the tour. Along with some excellent ceviche grouper to start. Lovely family that owns it. The grandfather has come out of retirement to cover his son and was a true gentleman helping us figure out what we were eating.

We went here for Sunday lunch and they had live music here along with Conch which is a Sunday speciality. Since we had never tried it before they got us a sampler of their conch ceviche which was impeccable! They recommended trying the conch made in Mexican way and it was spot on! Next we tried a full fried fish which was fried to perfection! It was wild how fresh all the produce was, if you’re a seafood lover this place is an absolute must visit in Cozumel!

Very authentic fish restaurant. They have amazing ceviche with a lot of lime and great fish & shrimp tacos. Everything is fresh. The meals are huge and the prices are extremely cheap relative to the quality!
It is located ~20min walking distance from the center of Cozumel but it’s worth the walk. Do not get deterred from the outside, just go for it and give it a try.
I think they also have live music, which they didn’t have when we came for lunch.
The owner used to do competitive fishing, is really friendly and will explain you many things about the fishes they serve.

If there were 20 stars, this restaurant would deserve every single one! The food was, without a doubt, some of the best we’ve ever tasted in our lives. Every dish was bursting with authentic, home-cooked flavors, and the guacamole was unlike anything we’ve ever had before—simply unforgettable!
The chef Diego was incredibly friendly, and his family, who run this charming family-owned restaurant with him, made us feel so welcomed. Their warmth and hospitality added to the experience, making us feel like we were dining at a friend’s home. The prices were very reasonable, and we savored every single bite.
As a delightful surprise, they even treated us to complimentary ice cream made from fruit grown in their own backyard—a perfect, personal touch to an already amazing meal.
This was more than just dinner; it was an experience we’ll never forget. If you’re visiting the beautiful island of Cozumel, do yourself a favor and make this restaurant a must-visit—you won’t regret it!

Our best meal in Cozumel, hands down. Not just the great food, but the experience. My Spanish is pretty bad, but we all had a lot of fun figuring it out, and in the end everything was amazing. from what I can tell this is a family business, and I think we ate in their back yard, it was awesome. the ceviche was great, the fried fish was great, the lobster was great, the entire operation was awesome. if you love seafood and want an authentic experience, this is your place.
for those who go ( and you should) it took me a minute to figure out what to do when I arrived. the store front looks like the “order in front then sit down” places that are common around the Caribbean. just walk around to the right of the store front and there is table service in back. today there was live music which was really nice, not loud at all, just good ambiance. also, they take pesos, USD, and credit cards.

Delicious ceviche! We ordered fries, guacamole, and the fish ceviche. This is the best ive had in tulum, playa, and cozumel. Also the live music was good! (Reminded me of the music my mom and dad like). I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Cozumel. It’s WORTH the walk.

We took a taxi from our cruise ship today. This is a very authentic restaurant. We ordered guacamole and the whole crispy grouper. As a bonus, the owner treated us to a very fresh ceviche. The food is fresh and absolutely delicious. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!, Cash only!

I don’t want to bury the lede: I don’t remember ever having better fish tacos than I had here. Yes, the service was very friendly and attentive, and the various sides – the fish soup (Saturdays only), the guacomola, the chips and salsa, the rice and salad, and the ceviche – were delicious, but for me the tacos (4 on the plate!) were the star! The owner has every reason to be proud of this place.

Well worth the walk from downtown! Great fish, friendly staff and genuine atmosphere. We had the fried whole fish and the filet al gusto (Mexican style) — both excellent and generous portion sizes. Big recommend!
