Visiting here from VA and found this quaint, local spot. It did not disappoint! Asked the owner to surprise me with his favorite dish, and it was delicious. Got the lemongrass beef, and he was proud to serve it. He was genuinely interested in conversing and took the time to visit every guest. Will absolutely be back next trip here!

If you are looking for decent Chinese in Charlotte, do not come here. I have no idea how they have a 4.4 rating. To be clear, I am not picky, I just want decent Chinese food.
Let me start with the fried rice… it was dry and had no eggs or vegetables, just dry yellow rice! The chicken in my General Tso chicken was absolutely frozen at one time! Dumplings were rubbery and had very little flavor. Wonton soup was by far the best part of the meal, but it’s really hard to screw up wonton soup.
I’m still on a search for just an average Chinese in Charlotte. I can name a half dozen place near Dilworth that are better than this place.
Any recommendations would be great!

Delicious Asian restaurant. Very fresh perfectly cooked vegetables, and a yummy basil sauce. The fresh seaweed salad is also delicious and very healthy! The owners and staff are all friendly helpful and welcoming. I would definitely go back.

The food here has great flavors and was liked by our China guests for authentic flavor with quality ingredients. The best Chinese in Charlotte we experienced. The staff is awesome and was helpful to make sharing a few apps and plates easy. Great atmosphere with specialty selections and traditional favorites. Highly recommend for Chinese in the Charlotte area.

We ordered the general Tso’s chicken/broccoli and shrimp/chicken fried rice through Uber eats. The generals chicken was flavorful but it was very soft, I was expecting it to be crispy. The side of fried rice that came with it was pretty flavorless, there were still pieces of rice that were white so it clearly wasn’t seasoned and mixed well. The shrimp/chicken fried rice also lacked flavor. Thankfully we paid .50 for some chili sauce.

Our favorite restaurant in town. Eat here 1-2x a week because the food is healthy and excellent consistently. Prices are reasonable for upscale Asian and the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect from a family run business. it’s sort of an Asian Cheers full of personalities that rival the TV show.
While some of the criticism in here may be reasonable, any review that gives it a 1 star is either the unluckiest person in that they got a bad meal or has poor taste. This place regularly wins awards for best in Charlotte. We’ve been going here for years and the worst meals here are better than the best meals in most Asian restaurants. Please not that the reviewer who said it was made by white people is bang out of order. The primary cook there is a member of the family.

I love this restaurant as you get great food and very friendly service. I usually get the Ginger Vegetables with shrimp or beef which is broccoli, cabbage, mushrooms, and carrots in a light stir-fried in a light ginger sauce. If you’re like me and hate carrots, they will gladly cook it without carrots. It is delicious as the ingredients are fresh and the sauce perfectly complements other ingredients. The staff always makes you feel welcome and appreciated, which unfortunately has become rare in restaurants lately.
