We have always loved Peking Kitchen/express and frequently order from them because of their fresh taste, generous portions, and consistent quality. Our usual favorite is Beef Broccoli and Mixed Fried Rice, which has always been a great choice.
However, our recent experience was quite disappointing. We placed an order over the phone, and unfortunately, the quality did not match our expectations. The Beef Broccoli was mostly broccoli and watery sauce, with barely any beef to be found. It felt like we ordered “Broccoli with beef-flavored water” instead! Similarly, the Mixed Fried Rice did contain prawns, but was missing both chicken and beef, making it far from the balanced dish we expected.
Online and phone orders should be handled with more care. Customers trust that they will receive exactly what they pay for, and such inconsistencies can be frustrating. I hope Peking Kitchen takes feedback seriously and improves their quality control. We love their food, but experiences like this make us hesitant to order again.

I loooove the food at this place . I work full time for the city of Alexandria and use this place as my takeout food hub for 6 years . Whatever dish I ever ordered it was cooked with care : lots of meat inside , sauces are superb, rice and noodles cooked they way should be cooked, vegetables fresh . Very very yammy. Hard working polite and efficient owner and shefs. You will not be disappointed . I recommend pad thai, tempura shrimp and all kinds of fried rice . Thank you for being in the neighborhood!!!!

The first time I had the lo mein platter, it was good. The second time, they didn’t add enough seasoning (soy suace) to the lo mein so the food was okay. I’m guessing it varies, but I would personally come back.

Staff are always friendly and kind. They make their food with efficiency and I’ve never experienced a late order. My only suggestion is they could maybe get their booths reupholstered or removed and put in chairs. Otherwise the place is always clean. Food is fantastic!!

I have been coming at least one every two weeks for 6 months , I usually buy for my family or friends and we always say it’s the best Chinese food that we have ever had i’m getting the dumplings are fabulous. The spring rolls are great. I usually get that move guy pan which is my number one favorite my daughters and mother-in-law. They usually get the chef special and make like a seafood special and is always the best.

I just ordered the chicken dumplings and General Tso’s chicken. Both tasted great, were priced reasonably and were delivered quickly. I even have enough for leftovers tomorrow.
