Food was three stars to be fair.

The owner was so kind and lovely though making it a good experience. They also play some old school Persian songs you won’t find anywhere else which we liked a lot!
They offer some Persian items for sale including rice, tea, pickles, and spices.

Thank you!

I love this place! Great food. Warm friendly family owned small restaurant with some spices, tea, and a few other Mediterranean groceries also available . The food is amazing, authentic, and has some dishes not often served at a restaurant. The gourmeh sabzi was delicious and aromatic. The dill rice- wow! The meat and chicken kabobs were amazing. We ordered take out. While we waited, the owner brought us some tea with sugar cubes. He treated us like family.

Here’s a real hole in the wall restaurant amazing Persian food, served with kindness!

The grills were fresh, succulent and cooked perfectly. The rice was buttery and flavorful and their hummus (could be better) and pita bread was just fabulous.

They have an interesting grocery shelf lined up with unique products as well.

I will come again

The lunch special on Wednesdays is pretty good, considering the cost of everything going up so high. Even though the service can be slower than many people expect, I actually like the relaxed feeling. I like being able to slow down and not have to rush to eat, like I’m back in middle school. The owner also reminds me to not rush so much. He’s right…

There are days when all I want is ‘simple’ kabob and hot tea (but watch it- they do mean boiling hot…) It is the best place to get the tahini and sumac I cook with, as well. And the only place I know of locally to get saffron rock sugar, a beautiful addition to a glass pot of tea from Kaleisia’s in the same plaza.

Owner was really nice. It took a while to get seated but he was very nice. Food was good. Prices were reasonable. They have a few items (Persian cookies, tea, dried vegetables, etc.) to buy as well.

Pros: Service, Taste, Kind Staff, and Food Accommodations.
Cons: None!
Overall: A nice small Middle Eastern joint with friendly people. Cozy and has a market inside as well. Reminds me of a delicious restaurant back home in MN (Caspian Restaurant on UMN Campus). Cheers to Life and Good Food!

This was my first time here and I didn’t know what I wanted, but the owner helped me with the menu and I ended up getting a chicken kebab with hummus and a salad and a lamb kebab with rice. Everything was fresh hot and tasty! I will be back..thanks!
