We were really having a bad day .. Then we came here . Evan made the night so much better for me and the hubby… His service was top notch. The food was great and the atmosphere was very nice and calm . We could hear the live music from the other restaurant so it made our night ..

I am being very, very generous giving 1 star.
Did not like one thing about this place. Save your money, goes somewhere else.
Service was so slow. She was a very unpleasant person. Never said hi or give us her name.
Food was bland, fries were cold. Asked for mayo, she brought it when I ate 3/4 of my burger. Brought food first to others in our party before us, who came 40 mins. after us. Was so much more wrong with the service. So many of us were disappointed in the service.
So loud you can’t talk. The trivia was a joke, couldn’t understand the women doing it. Sge only screamed.
Besides myself leaving early, another person left because the chairs are so uncomfortable, like sitting on concrete. Another guest went to walk out because the waistress didn’t put her appetizer order in, she was there from 5:30-6:45 and no food. All in all a horrible experience, awful food, lousy service.
And yes I called the manager, he didn’t seem to care.

I couldn’t be any more disappointed in our experience at this restaurant. We got a reservation for Valentine’s Day special which was $60 per person, and not only was there not a special menu, they took their regular menu and up charged us for the exact same items they have on their regular menu. Not to mention, the portions were quite literally laughable. Paying $60 for a $20 appetite and a $20 entree was definitely not the highlight of the day. What was the surcharge for? Nobody will ever know, all I can say for sure is we definitely got robbed in broad daylight and had to go to Wendy’s after dinner just to get an ACTUAL dinner! I would ABSOLUTELY NOT recommend this place to anyone I care about

Had a gift certificate so tried Perla last Friday night. The Bee Sting pizza was absolutely delicious! The tacos were pretty small, but tasty. Would go back again. The vibe is a tad dressier than your average Buffalo bar… just a heads up. Hardly anyone there when we showed up around 4:30, but the bar was jammed when we left. The Happy Hour specials are only available on the outdoor patio or at the bar.

Let me tell you something right off the top: dining at Perla Seafood Bistro is like watching Notre Dame football in the Lou Holtz era—unexpected, dramatic, and full of flavor bombs that hit harder than a Kyle Hamilton tackle.
I rolled into Perla ready for a modest meal, but what unfolded was an offensive drive straight to flavor town. My order? Chicken wing dip, oysters, wine, and clams—a lineup as powerful and well-coordinated as Sam Hartman running a two-minute drill. Let’s break it down like we’re watching tape in the film room with Marcus Freeman.
First Quarter: Chicken Wing Dip – The Rudy Moment
This chicken wing dip? Pure inspiration. Just like Rudy Ruettiger, it’s not the biggest or the fanciest, but it plays with HEART. Creamy, spicy, cheesy, and undeniably scrappy—it comes out hot and dives into your soul like Rudy diving into a pile during practice, trying to make a name for himself. Served with perfectly toasted bread, it’s the kind of appetizer that gets a standing ovation from the entire offensive line (or in this case, my table).
Second Quarter: Oysters – Hamilton-Level Elegance
If the chicken wing dip was gritty and bold, the oysters were Kyle Hamilton in coverage—smooth, elegant, and impossible to overlook. Fresh, icy cold, and briny with a clean finish, they went down like a textbook interception: swift and satisfying. I could almost hear the Gipper whisper, “Eat one for me,” as I slurped them down.
Halftime Show: Wine – Freeman-Approved Play Call
Now, the wine. A nice crisp white that balanced the seafood perfectly—probably not picked by Marcus Freeman himself, but if he DID curate a wine list, this would be on it. It had structure, finesse, and didn’t overpower—kind of like Michael Mayer running routes: classy, composed, and always where it needs to be. Definitely not your tailgate box wine. This is wine that’s been through spring practice.
Third Quarter: Clams – Brian Kelly Flashbacks (in a good way)
Okay, I know we’ve had our moments with Brian Kelly, but the man knew how to rack up wins—and these clams were just that: a W. Steamed to perfection in a garlicky, buttery broth with herbs so fragrant I considered putting in a scholarship offer. Each bite had me yelling “GO IRISH” into the bowl. If this dish were a player, it’d be Quenton Nelson—unrelenting, powerful, and makes a mess in the best possible way.
Fourth Quarter: Dessert? Victory Formation.
I didn’t even order dessert. You don’t mess with perfection. This meal didn’t need a Hail Mary. We were already in victory formation. The server came by and said, “Anything else?” and I just smiled like Ian Book after a clutch win in South Bend and said, “No thanks, Coach. We’re good.”
Final Score: 42-0
Perla Seafood Bistro dominated the line of scrimmage. Great service, fresh food, and a vibe that’s one part classy, one part cozy, and all heart—kind of like Notre Dame Stadium when the band plays the fight song and you realize this is more than just dinner. It’s tradition. It’s family. It’s a bowl game for your taste buds.
Highly recommend. Whether you’re a seafood fan or just here for the wing dip, Perla executes like a top-10 team on a Saturday night under the lights.

Casual dining in an upscale contemporary atmosphere! We had a very enjoyable evening at Salvatore’s newest Perla Seafood Bistro. Dined on a Monday evening with a friend. I love that they open early at 4pm and take reservations. 5 stars for excellent service! The food was great too! My friend ordered the daily fresh oysters, and I had the shrimp cocktail to start. We then shared the brick oven bronzino with white bean salad and the lobster roll. Both were good-sized portions, flavorful and fresh. They were advertising Margarita Monday offering specials on drinks as well as their pizza. My friend, unfortunately, wasn’t a fan of her margarita. When she mentioned it to our waiter, he happily swapped it for a cosmopolitan. He said we want you to be happy!! What more can you ask for these days. The fact that he seemed to genuinely mean it was truly appreciated. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful time! We will definitely be returning soon!

Not the best experience. We were there for an early dinner at 430 and the place only had one other table. We order the spinach dip which looked oily and burnt and tasted bland. Served with potato chips which is very odd. The fig and prosciutto pizza could be good but it’s way too sweet and wasn’t cooked properly. The oysters were ok but once again nothing had any flavor to it including the mignonette. For entrees we order the wonton tuna tacos which for some reason showed up as just tuna and cabbage in small bowls. No wontons to be seen. Also the scallops ala vodka which I’m so sorry to say was the worst pasta dish I’ve ever had. The scallops were absolutely overcooked I couldn’t even cut into them they were dark dark brown to the middle. The pasta was so mushy and overcooked. The sauce seemed like it was just some mealy tomatoes mixed in. Inedible. We won’t be back. Sad we wasted our time here.

The seafood happy hour was nice, the price was reasonable, the clams and oysters were a bit on the small size but very fresh and tasty. Drink specials were reasonable as well. Service was good and attentive. Shucker was above average as to neatness and time.

Very good! Was a little slow however that was at no fault of the staff. They were understaffed and doing the best they could with the volume. Delicious shrimp cocktail and burger! Would come back.

We went for the Valentines special dinner. Food was good, but over priced. We had an early seating and they ran out of the Salmon cakes, the main reason for coming. Spent over $80 per person with one drink and no dessert.
