This morning I went to Perkins in hopes of a good breakfast before my flight. Not only did I get a hot meal served to complete perfection, but I additionally had an amazing server. Mr. Fransisco was of great service and hospitality towards me. Traveling from Washington to Montana, my flight got delayed and I needed to stay a night in Utah. Recognizing the sign from back home led me to Perkins due to it closing down a few years back. The attitude and atmosphere made me feel as if I was right back at home and I have to give credit where it’s due. Mr. Francisco was easy to talk to, eager to help, and was always one step ahead of knowing what I needed right before I asked. If I had to recommend any breakfast spot with delicious food and exceptional service, I’d tell them to go to Perkins where Mr. Francisco (without the San) is working! Well done! And thank you!

In the hotel district, there’s this little restaurant I hadn’t expected much from — but to my surprise, the food turned out to be absolutely exceptional. Not only were the flavors incredibly delicious, but the presentation was also artistic and beautifully crafted.
Mr. Jairo was especially warm, welcoming, and attentive. He always knew exactly what to recommend and never failed to suggest outstanding dishes. His hospitality truly elevated the entire dining experience.
A big thank-you to Mr. Jairo! I highly recommend this place — a hidden gem worth visiting again and again.

Let me start by saying I never leave reviews haha. I ordered the shareable sampler. Came out in less than 5 mins . Everything on the sampler was superb. It also came with all the sauces one would need. I was really impressed!!! Plenty of food for two people. Restaurant was very clean and staff friendly! 5 Stars

Perkins is a consistent classic for breakfast. My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite between meetings since it was close to our hotel.
We had the scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, sausage patties and hash browns – everything was flavorful. We even took a blueberry muffin to go – it was huge! The portions were filling and we left satisfied.
Everyone was pleasant and accommodating, especially Lex/Lexi – our hostess. She was bubbly, kind, helpful with suggestions and made good conversation.
Would recommend and would go back.

Due to a flight delay, we had an opportunity to stop in for a much needed meal at Perkins. It was around 8pm on 1/18. The restaurant was clean. The service was great. The man that took care of us was kind and professional. The food was fantastic and just what we needed after a long day of traveling. Thanks for a great meal!

We had a wonderful experience. The food was quick and delicious. Our server, Vera, was so friendly and helpful! The cook was also kind and accommodating by making my youngest macaroni and cheese for breakfast. I highly recommend coming here!

I love going to Perkins when I am traveling out of state. My husband and I were surprised to find one here in Utah. This location was great! The service was amazing, super friendly staff. The food was delicious. My kids even loved their food which was a win! Will gladly be back again!

Not a fan of the new [to me] restaurant model here. It feels to me likes a test bed operation and it just feels “off”. It’s not going to work. Granted, it’s a low traffic count area but I don’t think this model would work anywhere.
They seem to be trying to create a blend of Starbucks, McDonalds, and a conventional Perkins. It feels uncomfortable but their hiring the most impersonal people in the Salt Lake valley does not help. No one (on two visits while spending night nearby) seemed to have any basic grasp of food server fundamentals. Example. I was brought a muffin with a spoon. A spoon? No jam. No butter. The peanut butter I requested must have threw them. But I was presented with a spoon. On the plus side, my coffee was also blessed with a spoon.
Be a sit down full service restaurant or a fast food place, pick one.

I went here since my Pops goes to Perkins in NY and loves it. I was the only person in the restaurant at the time. Food came out before I barely had time to fill up my drink at the soda fountain. FAST! Service was OK. The guy who brought my food out was extremely nice. Took a muffin back to my hotel and that was delish! Enjoy my photos!
