We went there for breakfast over the Thanksgiving weekend. We were just passing through, and the breakfast was delicious. The place was very clean, the staff very friendly, and the atmosphere very peaceful. It was busy, but the noise level wasn’t too high – unlike what you often find in other places. I took some cookies and a slice of pie with me for the drive; they were so good, I unfortunately didn’t take a picture. But they have a fantastic selection of pies, both slices and whole, as well as cookies and muffins. So the bakery is definitely worth a visit.

We moved to Ponca City in May 20 25. We have been eating at Perkins at least two times a week. Since we absolutely love the service. The staff and the food. Chrissy is our most favorite waitress along with Cameron and Elizabeth. We enjoy our meals because of The service we receive great place to eat .. Pie is really good too!

This is the best place around. The staff is friendly and funny, and the food is absolutely delicious. When I’m around this area, this is my go to. Highly recommend anything on the menu! My personal favey for breakfast is Eggs Benedict!!!!

There were very few customers, yet the food took about 40 min to get to us, then it was room temperature. Others in the group said their food was fine; however I had turkey and dressing that were both very dry. The grilled asparagus tasted like to oil used to cook it, though the broccoli was good. Server offered to bring another dish, but since it took so long to get this order, the offer was declined. They did comp the meal. It was disappointing because we’ve eaten here before, and everything was very good.

Sorry Perkins. I’ve not had a decent meal here in my 3 visits. The waitresses always seem to be rushed and in a bad mood, even when the place was empty. The food comes quickly, a good sign that it was just taken out of the freezer and microwaved. I know these chain diners are usually like that, but I would expect better food from a long-lived chain like Perkins. Maybe it’s the staff, maybe it’s the poor economy, maybe it’s the corporate structure, but Perkins is not good. Avoid at whatever cost. Sorry, Perkins.

Wait staff was excellent, our waitress was great!
Food was delicious. I had the senior breakfast with pancakes.
Right at my last two bites….I noticed a long strand of hair in my Food I was very polite about it called my waitress. I informed her that I wasn’t upset, but please have the cooks watch the dish and their hair before sending entrees out.
She was embarrassed, I said not your fault. We’re human, these things happened. Again, she apologized and offered me a complimentary dessert .
I worked in Food service in the military so I understand. But please have cooks wear hairnets on their heads and over their beards and mustaches…
Other than that……Have a blessed day

Excellent choice while in Ponka city oklahoma, there is always something consistent about Perkins, it’s always Excellent, weather in Medicine Hat Alberta, or Ponka city oklahoma ,Regina Saskatchewan. Evertime.i always have great consistent food..The staff always bats it out of the park..I would suggest there beef stir-fry. It’s definitely excellent n top shelf
