Sunday late morning breakfast, we were lucky enough to have Kaden (sorry if thr spelling isn’t correct). She was very sweet and attentive. We asked for a few modifications and little extras and she was perfect, didn’t forget anything.

Us three ladies went to Perkins for a waffle date. We had the Belgium waffle special which was yummy.. we were sat immediately and our waitress was very attentive. We were able to visit and were not rushed. Very nice experience.
However, I ordered a lemon meringue pie to go.
When I got home my grandson and I each wanted a piece. It was horrible and the worst pie I have ever had. The lemon had no flavor and was very grainy, no one in the family liked it or would eat it, it was a total disappointment.

Food was very greasy. Unfortunately, it was the worst I’ve ever had at a Perkins. The waitress was not good. It was a quiet night (Halloween) so it wasn’t busy in the restaurant at all. However, when I had made a couple of requests (extra napkin & and another soda), it took her 10-15 minutes for her to bring. each one. I had waited so long for the drink refill, I decided I had waited long enough and as I was putting on my jacket, she showed up with the beverage. Sorry, waiting 15 minutes for a refill in an empty restaurant broke the camel’s back.

Each year we come to Perkins in Lakeville to buy many wonderful Thanksgiving Dinners that we deliver to the Veterans we provide care for that are home alone for the Holidays. Every year Perkins in Lakeville does an amazing job helping us. They prepare amazing meals our Veterans LOVE and they throw in FREE Pumpkin Pie. Jessica at Perkins in Lakeville is always happy to help us make the holidays special for these Veterans that are alone. Thank you Perkins. See you next Thanksgiving!!

Food was good, but is kind of hard to screw up pan fried meats(breakfast party platter). I did ask for well scrambled eggs and nearly liquid scrambled were served. But no one wants to “nearly burn” my scrambled eggs even though that’s what i want.
The server should have been writing our order down because he nearly forgot to ask for my drink preference and once I offered it to him, he forgot what my mother wanted. Then when it came to our food order, again, he should have written the order down and remember all the options for the meals that were chosen.
The only thing wrong with the atmosphere was being to busy for the few hosts/servers they had on at that time (between 4pm and 430pm). The men’s room doesn’t look it was well cleaned since the building was new. There was what appeared to be human waste on the toilet seat and the inside of the bowl had not been cleaned well in ages. The toilet was leaking all over the floor same as the urinals. The sinks were clean looking, but the mirror was just as bad as the floor.

We went there for breakfast and I thought there was a hair in my egg. I got the waiters attention and voiced my concern. He yelled and said that it wasn’t a hair. I picked the egg up by the strand holding it in front of me. He actually grabbed the egg and threw it on my plate. He said he would get me different eggs. Which he didn’t I didn’t touch my food after he put his hands on it. My wife and daughter boxed up their food and at check out I told the nice lady behind the counter about the incident. So offered to not change me and stated they were short staffed and he was stressed out. I insisted we pay for the food but wanted to let her know about the incident. Obviously no tip was left for him and as I was leaving he said something in Spanish to the bus lady and just grinned at me.
I have never been treated this poorly by anyone and wish the managers of this restaurant investigate this gentleman. As customers we pay his wage and our tips greatly improve that pay.
Just want to warn everyone if you are put in the section with a taller Hispanic gentleman be careful what you say he has a hot temper.
Needless to say we will not be visiting the Lakeville Perkins in the future.

The 1 star is for cleanliness only. The country fried steak with country gravy, that I ordered with the gravy on the side, came with brown gravy on the potatoes and the white country gravy all over the undercooked meat. My husbands egg, that he ordered over easy, came hard and shreivled. We have always enjoyed The Perkins in Owatonna and thought the food at any Perkins would be consistent in quality, we were wrong, This was very disappointing and we will never eat at this Lakeville, Mn Perkins again.

I think this is the first time I’ve ever been here sober and this food was wonderful! Everything was perfect, fresh and fast. Our server Brooke, was great and super friendly. So, just FYI, you definitely don’t need to be tuned up to appreciate Perkins!

The Perkins staff was really great. I felt like they were all working together and knew how to serve us right. It’s what I go to Perkins for. I hope Perkins talks to their staff to take into consideration what they are privy to when it comes to their customers. They really do know best.
