Best meal I have had in a long time. This is such an experience and special treat. Everything is perfect put together. All the flavors flow and compliment each out. The drinks are amazing and creative. They give you all kinds of extra little taste treats. I just loved everything.

Upscale and intimate dining area. The bar is beautiful. Service is excellent. Everyone knows the dishes and can explain everything and what goes best.

We left so full! My favorites were the tuna layered item and the truffle risotto….but everything was so good.

Went for the winter tasting menu and had an outstanding evening. From the moment we sat down, the staff made us feel like regulars. Every member of the team knew the menu inside and out, and we especially enjoyed our conversations with the sommelier, who brought a real passion for wine culture that elevated the entire pairing experience. The service struck a perfect balance — attentive without being intrusive, and genuinely warm.

The food was exceptional across the board. The courses built beautifully on one another, from a delicate early course with ethereal rice chips and microgreens over a silky puree, to a stunning seared foie gras, and then a perfectly cooked fish course in a rich beurre blanc dotted with vibrant oils. The wagyu with roasted maitake mushrooms was a showstopper — deeply savory with a luscious reduction — and the duck breast with morel, puff pastry, and squash was cooked to absolute perfection. We added the 1oz Ossetra caviar and the black truffle risotto, and both were worth every penny. The risotto in particular was decadent, blanketed with generous shavings of black truffle. Dessert closed the meal beautifully with a caramel-forward composition featuring poached pear, pecans, gold leaf, and a delicate ice cream with crumble.

The wine pairing was thoughtfully curated and full of surprises. Rather than safe, predictable pours, the sommelier matched each course with creative selections that genuinely complemented the food. We had a great time discussing the reasoning behind each pairing, and it was clear that the wine program here is given the same level of care as the kitchen.

My only reservation — and it’s one I suspect many Atlanta diners share — is the price. Between the tasting menu, wine pairing, caviar, and truffle risotto supplement, the total for two is firmly in special-occasion territory. For a city like Atlanta, which doesn’t quite have the deep fine-dining density of New York or San Francisco, it can feel like a stretch. That said, the quality of the ingredients, the precision of the cooking, and the caliber of the service are all genuinely Michelin-worthy, and I don’t think the pricing is unjustified for what you receive.

Lazy Betty absolutely deserves its star. If you’re looking for the best tasting menu experience in Atlanta and are willing to invest in it, this is the place. We’ll be back.

We went to Lazy Betty when visiting our best friends in Atlanta as it was a 1 star Michelin restaurant and my wife had not tried a tasting menu. The restaurant is very cute. The inside is inviting and eclectic. The food was delicious. Specifically the dessert was among the best I’ve had. I have minimal complaints. It was an excellent experience. If I’m being picky, the initial start of the dinner took a lot longer than we expected. We showed up hungry expecting a long tasting menu with small, albeit many, portions. And we got that. The only hesitation in a full 5 starts was how long it took for the dishes to start coming out. Some of this was likely because a large group of 8-10 were seated around the same time as we were and seemed to know the waitstaff.

Aside from that slight delay, it was an excellent experience. Was it worth the nearly $300/person minus drinks? If you’ve been to similar 2-3 star restaurants, maybe. Maybe not. But it was a great night for us.

Alright! So wanna start out with atmosphere, nestled within a beautifully decorated well lit building, the restaurant itself has an almost casual feel. However within are beautiful adornments and accents that speak to the culinary art that is to come.

The service was exceptionally warm, yet efficient and what one would expect from this establishment. Champ and Anthony were absolutely wonderful and an asset to this establishment.

NOW THE FOOD!

Everything from the amuse-bouche to the desert were packed with flavor in every. Single. bite! PLEASE try the white alba risotto if you get the chance. ITS WORTH IT!

Also, the dessert was amazing. Think about that moment in ratatouille where the old man bites into the food and gets transported back to childhood. The dessert transported us both back to Thanksgiving dinner with family, filled with the warmth and nostalgia of those moments.

We’ve been lucky enough to try Michelin starred restaurants throughout the world. This place easily stands out amongst them.

Lazy Betty was an amazing spot to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. We did the vegetarian dinner and were really impressed with how creative and thoughtful each course was. A lot of the dishes pushed us a bit out of our comfort zone, but in a good way—that’s honestly what made the experience so fun and memorable.

The flavors were layered and interesting without feeling pretentious, and you can tell a lot of care goes into the menu. The drinks were strong (in the best possible way) and paired nicely with the food, and the ambience was warm, modern, and perfect for a special occasion.

Overall, we had a great time and left feeling full, happy, and like we’d tried something new together. Would definitely recommend Lazy Betty for a date night or celebration, especially if you’re open to exploring a more elevated, creative vegetarian dining experience.

This was a downright amazing experience. Our whole serving team was exceptional. Each course introduced us to the next chapter of the culinary story impeccably. Gracie paired amazing wines along our adventure. Rose kept pouring the love table-side. Impressed doesn’t even begin to cover our feelings with this meal tonight. The whole team, from kitchen to mixology to waitstaff, care about the hospitality they deliver and the quality of what they set down in front of us. Kudos and don’t change a thing. Cannot wait to return. Thank you!

From the moment I arrived, every member of the staff—hosts, servers, and everyone in between—made me feel truly celebrated with warmth, attentiveness, and professionalism. The food was impeccable: each dish exquisitely prepared, visually stunning, and bursting with flavor. As a discerning vegetarian and picky eater, I was amazed to savor every course, from vibrant entrées to indulgent, mouthwatering desserts.
By the end of the evening, I left not only satisfied but elated. Everything exceeded my expectations!!!!

F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C. From start to finish this was one of the most amazing tasting experiences we have ever had. The service was stellar to begin with but the presentation and flavors of the different courses stole the show. The freshness and attention to detail as far as the flavor profile were immediately notable. Get the caviar and A5 wagyu enhancements.

Love this spot! The food is flavorful, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is chill without being boring. The seafood dishes really steal the show—the snow crab chirashi was fresh and packed with flavor, the bluefin tuna taco roll is super creative and delicious, and the caviar dishes are a fun treat that taste as good as they look. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared, and the staff made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s a great place to hang out with friends, try a bunch of inventive dishes, and just enjoy the evening. Definitely coming back to explore more of the menu—it’s one of those spots where you leave impressed and excited to come back for more. Highly recommend for seafood lovers and anyone who enjoys a relaxed, elevated dining experience!
