We arrived at a difficult time for the staff and we still had a good time.

When we arrived it was clear that the poor waitresses were stressed. Upon talking we found that two cooks called out so food was slow, and people were becoming mad at the waitresses (one woman made the waitress cry). Even with that though our waitress was professional and quick. They all did what they could.

The food was decently fast for the circumstances, and tasty! A real selling point for me was that they left you a thing of coffee at the table. As well, they had chargers next to each table. we showed up in the lunch, rush and still got a seat. It’s right off the highway too

Be kind people. Nothing is that serious to scream at someone for late pancakes.

Always love coming here for any meal of the day. The staff is absolutely amazing super friendly and actually try to remember you. You’re not just a customer here you’re apart of the family. They welcome everyone warmly and make the whole dinning experience fun for everyone. Food is always great every time we visit.

As a first-time visitor to the Perkins in Kingsport, TN 37663 I can confidently say I will be back!

From the moment we sat down, the experience was top-tier, making it a standout choice for classic American comfort food. The food was absolutely amazing across the board. One thing to note for future guests: come hungry! The portions are huge, offering great value for the price.

While everything was delicious, the Caramel Apple Pie deserves a special mention—it was truly out of this world and the perfect way to end the meal.

What really made the visit special, however, was the service. We had a super nice waitress who was an absolute powerhouse. Even though she was working every single table I could see, she was incredibly excellent. She stayed ahead of our needs, often bringing refills before we even had to ask.
It’s rare to see someone manage a crowded room with that much grace and efficiency.

If you’re looking for great food and even better hospitality in Bristol, this Perkins is a must-visit.

Ordered country fried steak w/gravy..
green beans and mashed potatoes.
Steak and potatoes were ALMOST warm.
Beans were cold. Waitress returned my plate for redo. Exchanged beans for mac/cheese. Returned my original plate much better except mac/cheese apparently had been sitting for a long time!!!
Never had a bad experience before at this location.

We stopped by Perkins with the family and had a great experience from start to finish. There was no wait at all, which was a big plus, and parking was easy and convenient. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable—perfect for a family meal.

The food was excellent, with everyone enjoying their meals, and the service was just as good. Our server was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed without feeling rushed.

Overall, it was a smooth, enjoyable visit, and we’ll definitely be back. A great spot for good food and a relaxed family dining experience.

Food was amazing! Very good quality and flavor! I had the big skillet, which was everything breakfast and it was killer. Also got a peanut butter silk pie. Our server Danny was very nice and had us set! Will definitely be back

I ordered fish with salt and pepper, the chef clearly didn’t listen and decided to basically put the whole bottle of Cajun seasoning all over it, its so gross! Then the rice was overcooked! I couldn’t eat a lot of the fish because it was hard and gross! Whoever is cooking doesn’t listen and does whatever they want! This is the second time today I had to complain!

Went recently for our first time for the wife’s birthday. We went in for breakfast and was not disappointed. We can’t say enough about this location. The service was excellent . The food was spot on with cleaned plates . Was told the server has been there several years and it showed by how much she was loved by many dining in the restaurant. Will definitely be making this a point to go to more often.

I was super excited that I finally was able to go here because it was one of my favorite places to go back home. I ordered the steak and rice pilaf. They prices were very high but I was ok with it thinking you get what you pay for. Then, it came out under done and I asked if they could cook it more. The waitress was really nice about it. It took them over 30 min to return with a new plate. The waitress was really nice and did offer to bring me a muffin but I kindly said no I didn’t want to ruin my dinner. When my food was finally brought back to me it was well done to say the least (burnt). I was done at that point. The waitress did take my food off my bill and then brought us the check without even asking if we wanted dessert. I would understand if they were busy but they definitely were not. I will not be returning it was a big disappointment.

If I can pick where to go for breakfast in the tri cities, it’s Perkins. The one on Kingsport is amazing. The wait staff are attentive and listen to your order. Many have been there for many years, and are always a happy helpful interaction.
