We wanted to order food for a couple of stylist at the shop… BIG mistake… I ordered the corn beef sandwich..it was a disgusting pile of slop in between two oversized soggy pieces of bread you literally couldn’t even eat it. And then the other two people that got sandwiches were worse. I’m not even gonna go into that. I’m gonna Speak on my own experience I wouldn’t send an enemy there. I don’t How they’ve stayed open so long I’m still sick Just thinking about it , as I write this.

I really wanted to like this place. Gave them a second chance after my first visit where I got a tuna sandwich that made me feel sick after. The second visit I got the eggplant sandwich. the eggplant was cold so had to return it for them to heat it up. the bread wasn’t even toasted. imagine an overly salty undercooked eggplant on untoasted white bread… not only that but they are very wasteful. everything is given on places and cups that are to go, even if you dine in. I thought Salem had better zero waste policies, but I guess I was mistaken. I know it’s a zone without great food options, but I still have trouble understanding the high review.

Very delicious bagels, bagel sandwiches, and scones. Had the Iced Tea and an Iced Coffee (forgot tot request sugar so make sure you do if you like it sweet)! Great stop for breakfast.

Our family loves Periwinkles. Their bacon quiche is my favorite. Their sandwiches, salads and cookies are all great too. Ann had provided us with great guidance when ordering for gatherings and we have appreciated her wonderful customer service.

Love Love Love Periwinkles. My favorite sandwiches. Greatly appreciate the touch of adding a pickle with sandwiches, however highly reccomend NOT wrapping the pickles IN the paper with the sandwiches. Coming from someone who hates pickles and doesn’t order them for that reason, it’s a bit of a bummer taking your sandwich out of the bag for it to start dripping pickle juice from the now soggy paper wrapping to then open it to a now soggy sandwich. Like the wrapped sandwich was actually dripping down my arm as soon as I took it out of the bag. Was inedible today unfortunately.

The absolute BEST sandwiches! If you’re a bread person like me, you will 10/10 appreciate how fresh and soft their bread always is! I also usually only order a half sandwich because they are HUGE!
