I tried the adobada (“al pastor” but a la plancha) tacos. They were phenomenal! The flavors were subtle and perfectly balanced. The salsa de chile de árbol and salsa verde were hot and full-flavored. drove by and decided to get lunch here, pretty good sopes and tacos. They only sell the sopes in 3’s, fyi. I got 3 sopes, one taco, a soda for $17. The salsa on the side was bomb too. 4 stars only because they don’t have the prices on the menu items.

Its expensive. Got some carne asada fries for 16 bucks. Thought at least its gonna be bomb but they were mediocre. Too much salt. Not that much guac. Overall do not recommend the carne asada fries in this place. Cant speak for any other meal they sell.

Not good. Tacos were made with store bought tortillas. Barely warm. Asada looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Not authentic Mexican food.

Wife and I spent the day in Denver. Before heading back to Colorado Springs we found Perico’s. The food was so good. I got a burrito and my wife got tacos. If you’re looking for quality food with great owners, be sure to stop by!!!!

Leave it to a wero to order a $10 quesadilla that came with just beef n cheese and salsa…. ITS FREAKING BOMB!!! Fresh made salsa is fire! No thrills in and out yellow taco truck. But this is COMFORT FOOD 100! Check em out!
