I ordered online for delivery. The order arrived 40 minutes late. It took an hour and 40 minutes to arrive after ordering. Everything was cold and needed to be microwaved so that it was edible. Paid extra for french fries, they were so cold that the package was wet and fries were too soggy to even eat. Will not order from here ever again. Extremely disappointed.

I recently visited Peri Peri Original and had a mixed experience. We ordered the fried chicken and an Americana burger, while the kids opted for the strawberry sundae ice cream. The Americana burger was pretty good, though the patty was a bit overcooked, so I’d rate it 8/10. The fried chicken was decent, earning a 6/10. However, the strawberry sundae ice cream was a complete disappointment. It tasted frozen and watery, and I would give it a 0/10. They should really consider removing it from the menu. Overall, the meal had its highs and lows, but the ice cream was definitely the worst part.

Ordered a whole chicken from DoorDash paid over 40 dollars for the most disgusting chicken I’ve ever seen at any establishment. It was old, cold dry and had brown spots as if it’s been sitting out all day. I will never order anything from this place. I want to share some feedback from my visit. I don’t want to leave a bad rating, but there were a few things that made my experience uncomfortable and affected my appetite.
I am not someone who leaves reviews easily—especially negative ones. I always try to support good businesses, and if I have a bad experience, I usually just don’t return instead of writing a review. However, what I observed during this visit made me feel it was important to speak up.
One staff member was eating while touching the payment/ordering screen. Another employee was coughing repeatedly without wearing a face mask. I noticed these two issues first and was actually trying to mention them to the cashier. Unfortunately, the staff member who took my order went to the restroom, then returned and sat behind the cash register. While sitting there, he put his fingers in his nose multiple times. I noticed this while I was eating, and it made me stop my meal. We made brief eye contact, but the behavior continued, which ultimately led me to leave this review.
In addition, the tables were sticky and did not seem properly cleaned. The floor was also not clean and had small pieces of trash. I also noticed boxes of drinks, such as water and soda, placed directly on the floor, which did not look sanitary.
I’m sharing this as constructive feedback, not to harm the business. Cleanliness and hygiene are extremely important in a restaurant, and addressing these issues would greatly improve the customer experience and confidence in dining here.

Awesome halal fast food!!
We ordered 3 different kinds of wings. You can adjust the heat level as per your taste. Extra hot were quite hot, so medium are recommended. Their lemon garlic wings were the best.
We also ordered Nashville hot chicken sandwich, which is truly amazing. Highly recommended
Their potato wedges are yumm too!
The place is neat n tidy, clean restrooms and it’s self service. Wait time is not too long, just as you settle in and chit chat a bit the order would be ready. That day was not busy at all, so our order came out quite fast, and for freshly made food, that’s really good.
While there, I was wondering why it wasn’t busy…I feel not many people know about this spot, it’s quite hidden.
Overall, a great place with awesome food. A must try for those of us who are always looking for new places to eat.

The first time I came here I tried the Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich and that was my mistake. I didn’t realize how hot it was going to be. Finished my sandwich like a trooper though. Couldn’t let it go to waste. My 2nd visit I tried the Honey Garlic Chicken sandwich and it was AMAZING. Also, the dipping sauce for the fries is elite. Looking forward to my next visit.

Peri peri original has the best fried chicken in the Laurel area hands down. I had the Honey Butter Chicken Sandwich and it was absolutely delicious. Get the Peri Peri fries I promise it will change your life. If you want a really really good lunch go there.

I got the chance to try Peri Peri with one of my closest friends and I must say I was impressed. I’ve been seeing this restaurant pop up all around the DMV. The Honey Garlic and Nashville Fried Chicken sandwiches were amazing. Their desserts were pretty good but small portion for the price. The hospitality at this location was awesome. Definitely plan to go back soon.
