First time visiting Hawthorne NV. (Truck drivers) first off plenty of parking in this town. Park by the Chevron and walk to Peppers… We had Jalapeño bacon burger ,
Funky Frings with chile beans and cheese,
Chicken fried steak burger with gravy. Chili cheese dog added onions.
Definitely will come back here burgers were made to order and they say not fast food. Ate an ice cream cone while I waited for food. Mmmm
Texas Girl approved!!

We found Peppers while sitting in the Safeway parking lot searching for “food near me”. Hidden on the side of the road, the antique fire trucks and 50’s alien feel was charming and inviting. The menu was out of this world fun and with so much variety, we had a hard time deciding what we wanted. Pros and Cons:
Pros-friendly staff. Nostalgic theme. Clean restrooms and plenty of seating. The Alien sauce added an exciting kick to the classic diner foods.
Cons- A home style fry was advertised but broken bits of unseasoned curly fries were served instead. My grilled cheese Texas toast was grilled perfectly, however, the cheese was unmelted all the way through.
Yes I would absolutely recommend this place and eat there again. However, I would hope, for the price, the fries and cheese get an upgrade.

I’m obsessed with their ET Burger and Alien Fries! The burger is juicy and packed with flavor, and the fries are perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. If you’re looking for a place that truly delivers on a classic burger-and-fries combo, this is it. Highly recommend!

The food was excellent and the price was really good for today’s prices. The shakes were excellent. We’ll be back.

I eat here all the time. The food is great and I recommend this over McDonald’s any day or any other place in town. The people that are working here are very friendly and pretty quick at getting your food out. It’s not fast food so be prepared 10 to 15 minutes to get your order.

Hands down the BEST food I’ve ever had! I ate there every day during AFD weekend, and every single meal was amazing. The flavors were on point, the prices were unbeatable, and the whole vibe was just perfect. If you’re anywhere near, do yourself a favor and stop by Peppers Place does not miss!

Been a curiosity of mine for some time so I tried it. Extremely disappointed by my food. I was encouraged when given the opportunity to taste the alien sauce. Best house sauce I’ve ever eaten. So it’s why when I got my food I was as disappointed as I was. So positives first: alien sauce delicious, pulled pork flavor pretty good but extremely dry. Negative: other than tha sauce and pork run it was the most flavorless meal I’ve ever eaten. The meats were all dry. The “nacho sauce” I’m certain was actually condensed cheese soup. The fries were under cooked and tasted like an old freezer. Ironically though, there’s enough on the menu that I’m going to give en one more shot

We have stopped in Hawthorne several times in the past, as it is right in the middle of our home and Vegas. We had a bad meal at the local casino the last time so we decided to try Pepper’s Place. A funky, old building, but the folks inside couldn’t have been nicer. The portions of the food are huge. I had the Patty Melt and didn’t realize that it came with two large patties. It was cooked to perfection, and the Texas Toast was great too. My wife had a Taco Salad that must have weighed two pounds. The Frings (rings and fries) was a large portion too. I would have liked the fries a little crisper but all in all, it was a very satisfying meal.

If you want the best burgers of your life, get yourself to Pepper’s Place. It’s one of those perfect little Hawthorne dives where the food is unreal and the vibes are even better. Everything on the menu is a win—seriously, you cannot go wrong. And the shakes? Next-level amazing.

If you’re ever in town and craving something delicious, do yourself a favor and stop here. You will not be disappointed!

I lived my first experience just talking with the owner here, simply checking out their prices. Came back and ordered a country fried steak sandwich a couple days later and it was delicious and reasonably priced, especially nowadays in such a small town.
Eye catching outside atmosphere drew me in and I’m hooked! I will go there lots and wish the owner and her family lots of luck and success in their continued growth (seems like a nice semi-indoor area they are opening very soon) to the very cute restaurant with a surprisingly big and varied menu.
