The food here was good. I didn’t like the guacamole because it was way to chunky to put on my chips. We ended up paying 6.95 for a bowl of it. They didn’t offer a side of it.

I had lunch here with my family. I was pleasantly suprised! I have not had great luck with Mexican restaurants when I’m traveling but Pepper’s turned out to be a total banger! The salsa was great! Not too spicy and not too mild. The prices were very reasonable and the portion sizes are great. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. Best off all the food quality was great! I highly recommend the birria tacos. 10/10 would eat here again.

Very good food. I have never had a bad meal here. This place is open on Sundays; which is good because a lot of places in town aren’t. Update: The food is still fantastic! I really like the Burrito California. The waitress was fantastic and stayed right on top of things. You can’t go wrong here.

This is the first mexican food that we’ve had since moving to Michigan that is review worthy. We’ll be back soon for sure!
I had to update my original review and add that unfortunately I was disappointed to find that the seafood enchilada which advertises “Three shrimp and crab enchiladas topped with cheese and our ranchero sauce. Served with rice and tossed salad.” but there was no cheese on top, I’m not sure what a ranchero sauce is but it was very lightly coated with a red sauce and the inside was a few chunks of cut up shrimp and an awful quality imitation crab. That was super disappointing

I was hoping to see the black menu but they had a different type of menu. From the pictures, the black menu had Gluten Free and Vegetarian items marked. The new menu did not appear to have those.
As soon as we sat down, a waiter took our drink order, and then someone brought out chips and salsa. I was not terribly impressed with the salsa. It was okay. The chips were good. They were the thicker corn kind.
I was surprised that there was no salt and pepper on the table.
I quickly ordered for the kids and myself. I ordered a hard beef taco with rice and black beans for one kiddo and a soft beef taco with rice and black beans for the other kiddo.
For myself, I ordered the 3 taco combo. I asked for the potato and chorizo, steak, and chicken. I was able to eat 1 1/2 tacos! They are filling. It came with rice and beans. I ordered black beans. I asked for the cheese on the side. To my surprise, the meal also came with a mild and spicy sauce on the side.
I am Gluten Free, and I made sure to ask if the tacos were GF. The waiter said yes, but then right after leaving, my stomach started to hurt. I really hope everything I ordered and ate was GF, otherwise they lied and didn’t care about allergies. (I hope that’s not the case.)
I didn’t realize how pricey fountain drinks are. Next time, I’m ordering water only.

Right when we sat down I knew it was going to be an awful experience. My family and I have been here several times but the last few have been a horrid experience with service and food quality. But this time really takes the win, our server was so rude and seemed like it was an inconvenience anytime we asked for anything, she never gave refills once through the dinner and all around was just a terrible server. The food was so disgusting and almost inedible. The rice was old and clumped together, the queso was 100% watered down and a large side for $17 for 7 oz of queso is highway robbery and I wasn’t aware when I ordered it because a small side is 6$. My dad got a burrito and took 2 bites and they still tried to charge me for it.

Always a great place for some good Mexican food in Lenawee County. I got the Paella, nice mix of beef, chicken and shrimp. The rice and queso really set it up well along with the onions. My wife got the Fiesta dinner with beef, chicken, rice and mushrooms (rice on the side). A nice combo platter and both dishes come with tortillas, you will have food to take home as well! Madalynn was great as our server also!

First time here and we will definitely be back. We were seated right away and our server was there within minutes giving us water with chips, and what tasted like home made salsa.
We put our order in and it was out in a very short time. The food presentation was amazing, temperature was warm, and everything tasted fantastic.
Note that there is a 3% upcharge If you pay with a credit card. They have quite an extensive menu, which could have been printed in a little larger font.

It’s wierd there are only waiters there not waitresses but the waiters blow waitresses out of the water. They are all running around cleaning tables taking orders delivering food and bringing the bill. They are fast accurate and there Pina coladas are homemade. I would definitely go back again and again with fabulous service like that. Great job guys. Also my chimechanga was very good as well♡.
