Friendly service, flavorful food! We went on Taco Tuesday. I was expecting street sized tacos, but they were full sized! Guacamole is through the roof! Salsa has a fantastic kick! We are only passing through town, as we’re camping nearby. However, if we’re ever back in this quaint town again, you can bet we will come back!

I really love this place. It has been here for several years under different names. I was a little disappointed the other day, though whenever I ordered flautas. Someone needs to tell the cook that the word flautas means flute. These look nothing like flutes…. they weren’t long and thin, and they weren’t deep-fried like they were supposed to be so this was a Big flauta fail.

May have been the worst street tacos I’ve ever had. Bland and dry meat. Salsa tasted like straight vinegar. Pretty sure we got ill from the food.

Never had a bad experience and the food is always on point! Something you NEED to try is their carne fries . Never go wrong with a smothered burrito or street tacos! Portions and prices are worth every bit and will make you want more!

Usually I love this place, yesterday though had a bad experience. Our daughters concert got out and we went to get a quick bite to eat someplace close we chose peppers and came in around 8:15 not realizing they close at 8:30 (we thought they closed at 9). First thing the waiter says to us and quite rudely was just letting you guys know we close at 8:30, and walks off. Customer service was non existent. They were busy for the time of night but they could of at least offered to let us order to go. Instead they chose to shame our family for coming in to late. So we all walked out embarrassed, and still hungry.

One of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been with an amazing hometown vibe it really shows the Halstead charm. I’ve been over 20 times now and they’ve only messed up my order twice which is an extremely impressive feat to achieve especially during the rush. I guarantee this place will last a long time and it’s possible one of the greatest places I’ve ever been to.

This small town Mexican place has great food and is staffed by extremely friendly people. Our waitress was extremely attentive, and was even willing to send someone to the store for us for a mixed drink ingredient they were out of. A great place to go if you’re in town for the evening or don’t feel like cooking!

Atmosphere is okay, friendly customers. Only place in town that has a bar. Service is decent, servers are friendly. Food lacks flavor, portions are small for the price. Salsa is good though.
