Been eating at Pepperjax off 171st and West Center for a long time now and not only has the price gone up – but the service has went down hill big time! The manager working the cash register is not only rude but he will charge you .38 cents for a side of ranch for the $13 philly you just paid for and will ahve a complete attitude and smugness about him while doing it. Such a shame as this used to be one of our favorite spots -not anymore though!

Whoever they got making food must be related to Helen Keller or something. Once I opened my sandwich it seemed to be overflowing with deliciousness only to b deceived to the fullest. They didn’t even cut the bread so all the contents were on top just stuck to the cheese with an entire bread boat. Nothing but bread. All the other contents were loose in the box. Dryer than the Sahara dessert and just overall probably the worst sandwich I’ve ever had from pepperjax. Also asked for sauce which was on the receipt and it was forgotten so my Sammy dried up even more. I’d suggest a different location, this one is trash. WASTED MY MONEY. Oh btw both sandwiches were like this so it wasn’t just a bad Sammy it was a bad Sammy artist

We ordered the steak sandwich and fries. The cost was more expensive than I expected. $32.00 was high for 2 sandwiches, 1 order of french fries and 2 fountain drinks. Must be the beef prices.

Pepper Jax steak sandwiches are great. As with every other restaurant, we noticed the portions have gotten smaller, even while prices increased. But, the food still tastes great.

This place was a 5 star fast food restaurant, great food, great service, just great all around. Not sure the reasoning on the firing of the old manager, Don, but I feel like that decision has made the place go down hill ever since. The new management team is laughable and the food is getting very overpriced. My bowl went from 12 dollars in 2023 to 20 dollars now.

Hot. 92 degrees is too hot for inside let alone behind a grill. I’m not sure what needs to be done but doesn’t seem like a good situation all around. Service is unmatched and food is delicious. Only bad mark is the AC issues.
