Neighborhood Korean BBQ plate lunch place. Everything here is $17-18 atm , except the Kalbi plate which is $25. All the plate lunches include 4 side dishes/veggies. Generous portions here. Still a solid place.

Best plate lunch I’ve had in a long time, authentic Hawaiian fare at great prices. Huge helping of BBQ chicken, sides were cold and fresh. Mac salad maybe had too much mayo but was still great.

Good Korean food, large portions, quick service. I had meat jun (omelet with beef inside), and the wife had BBQ beef. Both were tasty. The sides are good too; I particularly recommend the cucumber kimchi. This place is best for to-go orders, as the seating is minimal and there are no restrooms.

Big portions for great prices. We go here weekly since it’s a short walk from our place. The only thing I will say is they should put names on the side dishes I’m mexican and not familiar with different foods other than corn and egg. So I don’t know what the side dishes are called and just point to what looks good. I’ve noticed that this has made some tourist not want to place an order because they are unsure what food the sides are as well. Other than that definitely recommend we usually buy a mini plate and fills us up !

EDIT: My wife and I moved off the island so the mainland. We came here for a trip and ever since we started thinking about the trip we’ve been planning to come to Peppa’s and it was our first stop when we came back to the island. We used to live around the corner from them and they were a mainstay for us. Wonderful food, great size portions, good prices!
I’m going to post a picture of my dinner from today it was a combo plate spicy pork and barbecue chicken, my wife had a veggie plate as well.

We came here on a Friday afternoon to pickup some takeout for dinner.
I got a combination Bbq chicken and Kalbi and my wife got the Meat Jun plate.
Banchan veggies were all nicely arranged and everything we got was fresh and delicious. The meats were all good too!
Plates were generous and we each got two meals out of it.
The workers were polite and the place was really clean. I’d definitely come here again!

Clean and efficient Korean BBQ place is one of my favorites. Food is consistent, service is consistent. All a little pricey at about $20 a plate but one of the best meal values in town.

The food was tasteful. It came out perfectly heated. They give a big portion. 2 plates cost roughly $35 kinda pricey, but it’s OK. This is how much we ate. Our boys 2 and 7 had hamburger steak and me and my husband had meat Jun and BBQ chikcen.

Peppa’s did me dirty!! Let me start by saying THE RESTAURANT WAS EMPTY. I ordered a Shrimp Plate with 4 piece mandoo and a Vegetable Plate.
While waiting the WORKER FROM THE BACK HAD TIME TO GRAB EGG BANCHAN FOR THEIR LUNCH. Should have noticed something was wrong when the FRONT WORKER WENT IN THE BACK TO CHECK ON THE FOOD. She comes back and doesn’t say anything. Then I see a WORKER WASHING THE TAKEOUT CONTAINER IN THE SINK and then they redo my vegetable order. Still nothing from the front worker about what is going on. After waiting a while I ask how much longer because if not I have to cancel the order. At first I don’t think the worker was even going to apologize until I asked what went wrong. That’s when I was told it was because the vegetables spilled. Then when I get home MANDOO SAUCE IS MISSING. You would think after all of that they would make sure the order was correct. Also if they mess up they won’t offer to fix it. At first they will say there is no manager until 4pm. But then they will offer to remake it if you push it, calling them out on their lack of communication, customer service, etc. But who is going to go back on their lunch break or at home already.
