Happened to be in the area and was drawn in by the charming outdoor décor—and I’m glad I stopped. The inside is just as nicely decorated, giving the place a warm and inviting vibe. Pepita’s serves coffee, cocktails, and a good range of food, with several menu items that looked intriguing (I do wish they had photos to help with choosing).
I tried a couple of dishes and none of them disappointed. Service was friendly and attentive—Hugo took great care of us. Parking is easy since it’s located in a large plaza, and the restaurant itself is medium-sized with plenty of tables of all sizes.
Overall, a great spot. I’ll definitely be back.

We were initially looking for a quick easy place to eat a small meal to last until we got home. The smell attracted us from about a block away. We almost left after studying the menu. The prices are reasonable and the food excellent. Better than excellent! If you are anywhere near TSO on Beecaves then you must come in and eat. Our server, Carlos, was very proffessional and a warm, cheery person. The cook, bartender, Miguel, answered coffee questions in the nicest way. We ordered Pozole Verde, a truely taste sensational soup. So very happy to get a taste of this treasure. We also ordered the Portobello Hash breakfast dish. I had to take most of it home because I filled up on the soup. My sister and I shared both dishes and asked for the ticket to be split between us and Miguel did so with a genuine smile. How could a place be any nicer to spend time in? A truely fine and wonderful hidden treasure.

Stumbled upon this place after a Trader Joe’s run and so happy we did. Food, service, and atmosphere were great! We got the chilaquiles and pancakes. Coffee was great as well. And it was decorated for Valentine’s Day which I loved!

Pepita’s is a hidden gem that’s hits the sweet spot between casual café and lively bar. From avocado toast at brunch to street tacos and cocktails later in the day, the menu is thoughtful and inclusive.
The vibe feels fresh, welcoming, and perfect for lingering. Service was friendly and helpful, making the visit even better. If you’re in the Bee Caves / Rollingwood area and craving something relaxed with flavor, this is a great choice.

Our favorite new Mexican restaurant in Austin! We discovered Pepita’s Cafe this weekend and came for the happy hour, which was fantastic. Today we’re back for lunch, and the food is still excellent, fresh and delicious. This will be a regular for us now

Stopped by this cafe and bar on a weekday after seeing the great reviews, and it really lived up to the hype. The place has a very pleasant atmosphere, with a clean and stylish interior. Tables were spotless, and the service was attentive without being overbearing.
I was really looking forward to ordering the ceviche, but unfortunately they told me it wasn’t available that day. That was a bit disappointing.
The food was fresh and flavorful, with generous portions that left us full and happy. We also tried a couple of their cocktails – interesting flavors and well-balanced. Prices are a bit above average, but honestly, it felt worth it given the overall experience.
The location is a bit tucked away and easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but we were glad we found it. Definitely a spot we’d come back to

Absolutely phenomenal experience—hands down the best food I’ve had in Texas so far!
The street tacos were out of this world—easily the best I’ve ever had. I added a side of guac, and wow… it was incredible. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The blueberry mojito deserves a 20/10—refreshing and unique. Honestly, if I could come back every night, I would!

The food tastes okay, not great but not too bad either. What made it a no-go for me is the portion size. The rice is basically one table spoon or smaller, same with refried beans. I had to snack after eating here so not going back. The theme is miniature decor, miniature tables, and miniature food pretty much.

Great quesadillas, margaritas and friendly service. What else could you possibly want?! Well priced, to top. Would definitely return, best compliment I can provide in a city filled with great Mexican food.

Partner and I went for lunch, cute hidden gem with great blueberry mojitos! The nachos and fajitas were the bomb. Our server was so nice, and I believe it might have been the owner that came to check on us as well. We felt very welcome, can’t wait to go back!
