Got the fish tacos with a side of rice and beans and when I say I haven’t had a fish tacos like this in a veryyyyy long time I mean it! Shout out to the chef! Soooooo delicious and the flavor combo was executed perfectly! Definitely recommend!!

It was our first time eating from here and I would recommend to everyone who loves Mexican food! We weren’t able to dine in at this time but just seeing the place while we waited for our order was enough to see how cozy it is. The furniture and decor beautifully represented itself! Extremely disappointed. The “special” today was 2 burritos. They came with just beef and cheese. The bottoms of the wraps were soggy as there was so much grease. I couldn’t even eat it. My friend ordered the Buffalo chicken nachos, also not good and barely anything on them. The food was out in two minutes from ordering which is never good.

Food was good, no complaints. Service was terrible. Two kids sitting behind the bar with faces in their phones. They could hardly be bothered to talk to you, take your order, give you a menu, or even greet you as you walked in the door. They kept their phones in their faces without looking up while taking my order. I rarely leave bad reviews, but these kids need some training.

Chips were stale and in small portions compared to other mexican food restaurants around here. Prices were abominable, and the food quality was embarrassingly low. It was like the cooks forgot what seasoning was. The only thing that shocked me more than the bad, overpriced food, served on a sticky table, was how busy the place was despite it all.
I guess Mainers really don’t know any better if they think this qualifies as mexican food.
If you do have to eat Mexican food in this nightmare of a town, just go to Las Palapas instead. It’s not great, but it’s better than this.

Without a doubt the absolute place to be if you want some great food prepared and served by amazing people! I’ve been a few times now and even when they’re busy the wait for an order has never been long enough to cause an issue. An amazing atmosphere inside the restaurant and out on the patio, you can sit back, relax and sip on a margarita that is by far more superior to any other contender that I’ve come across. Do yourself a favor and stop in sometime. Enjoy some on the house tortilla chips with salsa while you sip that ever so amazing margarita and enjoy that entree that comes out fresh, hot and jam packed with more flavor than you could have ever expected! These guys have been doing such an amazing job! It has been an absolute pleasure to say the very least to not only give them my business but to share them with everyone I can that’s looking for another amazing place to spend some of that hard earned money of theirs! Can’t thank them enough for being who they are and doing what they do❤️

I’ve been eating here forever, and I’ve never had a bad experience. whenever i crave Mexican food i come here and sometimes get the cheese burritos with the tomatoes raisins and onion in them. i’ve always been a passionate raisin hater but somehow Pepino’s makes it work. they also make the best guacamole in the world. i recommend trying it. I love you Pepinos❤️

I had lunch there by myself. An attractive space, clean and comfy. I didn’t have drinks, but the margaritas looked terrific. The menu was concise, and replicated on a wall blackboard for ease. I had a chicken & cheese enchilada with rice and beans (both tasty). It was served with lettuce & tomatoes on top, which isn’t my preference. That was my error, though, since it is listed as such in the menu, I only read the wall. All the same, it was flavorful. I ate it with chips, using the provided red (medium) and green (hot) sauces. The table salsa was mild, and maybe mixing the red with the salsa would find the right spot.
I don’t remember the price, exactly; it was last Tuesday, so what do you expect. I do recall the price was not a shock. If I’d had company, conversation would have been easy and private. I ordered water, Pepsi is not my preference, and I didn’t think to ask for Iced Tea.
The waitress was friendly and efficient with a nice smile.
I suggested they add a good, spicy Chile Verde to the menu. I will still go there again.
