I decided to try this food truck and was really disappointed. They charge almost $15 for three birria tacos, 3!!!!!!which were just average-sized — not overfilled, not huge or crazy, nothing special about them. What made it worse was that the order was labeled as a combo, but it didn’t even include a drink. So on top of paying $15+, you still have to buy your drink separately.
If your trying to go on a date and want to share a combo with your partner you would be paying about 7.50$ for 1 small taco and half of another taco.Drinks NOT INCLUDED

For takeout, the presentation was terrible. They threw the hot tacos straight into a foam container with no paper or liner — most taco trucks at least put a liner between the food and the foam plate to separate hot food. They also gave half a lemon chopped into three tiny pieces, which honestly felt lazy and lackluster.

The tacos themselves were not worth the price at all — no interesting flavor, no punch, nothing that made them stand out from any other vendor. The consomé (the broth the meat is cooked in) came in a tiny cup, almost the size of a mouthwash cup, which was ridiculous for the price.
I can see how someone who doesn’t eat tacos or isn’t Mexican can find this place as “good” but their just scamming their customers.

Between the poor presentation, misleading “combo,” and inflated prices, this place just feels like a scam. There are plenty of food trucks that serve better food with better quality, presentation, and value.

The only positive thing I can say is that the service was friendly — the lady taking orders was nice. Also, parking was confusing — they have about 5 spaces, and it’s unclear if you’re allowed to park next door the worker didn’t know as well.
Definitely better out there save your money and go elsewhere PLEASE!!

This place is FIRE! I had the Birria taco combo and my friend got the birria ramen. Tacos were so delicious and so well put together where they weren’t falling apart as you dipped them. Birria came in a large container with so much meat. Very delicious! Pricing is great here too! Highly recommend

Looked up some reviews before coming here the pictures of the food looks amazing! I decided to come I am visiting Austin so I walked to it I was a bit annoyed about having no good place to eat and it was very hot outside despite all that the food came out and it was as good as I hopped it would be definitely in the top of the quesobirria tacos I’ve had in a while also tried the Ramon birria soup that was good but I wouldn’t buy again I’m just not a big Ramon guy. But definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area!!

Shells were cold and soggy, meat was all pure fat, the birria dip was stored in a huge pot in the back of a car that’s parked in the parking lot. Had huge chunks of fat in it. Guy told us they were out of onion and cilantro but when I asked if he could remake them for us our new ones had onion and cilantro. Just bad, don’t risk it because there are a few good reviews. Find a better taco place.

Birria Tacos were great. Although they forgot to put in onions and cilantro. So I had to ask for them separately. Keep that in mind when ordering.

I’ve had several birria spots and I believe this one could use improvement. Once arriving at the food truck it took the lady at the window more than 10 minutes to take my order. Dint apologize for the wait or greet me. The tacos themselves could use more meat and the tacos were too small. The consume itself had good flavor and came with a huge cup. I will give them a second try because I believe in second chances, but not my go to spot for birria tacos.

I don’t normally consume beef. I gave Pepe’s an exception. Definitely did not disappoint! So flavorful and tender. Even the shell/tortilla of the birria has a distinct flavor. The green salsa is pretty hot, it made me sweat.

I like that their menu has a few items, you know it’s good because it’s highly specialized. All their attention is focused on those only.

More of a take out place than a dine in.

My birria tacos had a huge long black hair in them. Glad I saw it before I ate it so I was able to throw the entire meal away promptly. I got my refund however I’m never ordering from here again. Choose a more reliable/safe option.

This place doesn’t mess around- SERIOUSLY great birria. That tender melt in your mouth melt your heart experience. The consume is fiesty and flavorful and the tacos are fried to crisp perfection. Consistently lovely service- perfect to stop by for a quick bite that will leave you wanting to come back again and again
