I love the fact they open semi early at 10am on weekdays. I usually come here if I’m waiting for my car to be serviced across the street. It’s a decent size establishment. They offer slot machines. There’s a bar to sit at not just the table sitting. Service is always nice and friendly. They have drink specials during the week. The steak tacos are my go to. This particular visit I had their chicken soup. When I say it didn’t disappoint, IT DIDN’T DISAPPOINT. It was hot and fresh. It had the right amount of chicken and vegetables in it. The flavor was spot on. Not sure if I got it that way because it was in the a.m but I definitely will be back for the soup.

Went in today for lunch order Enchiladas as usual for myself and today they were so small the amount of meat inside didn’t even cover the entire tortilla/taco. When I said something the waiter said the only thing I can do is give you a cup of meat…..really I accepted it but needless to say I was disappointed. I’ve eaten here several times even bragged about how much I liked it but today it was terrible the waiter didn’t even apologize. My friend wasn’t pleased with their steak taco dinner either. Maybe it’s not good before 3pm.. I don’t know

This Pepe’s does not accept the gift cards sold at Costco. Regardless, the food was great. I’ve never been to a Pepe’s that has a buffet. Everything was delicious and the service was awesome. Buffet is offered on Sundays and the price is right.

I base my review, in large part, on my numerous visits to the Sunday buffet.
I can only assume that the service and quality are consistent in other aspects of the restaurant and regular menu, as well. Pepe’s buffet packs quite a punch in a limited amount of floor space.
Selections abound, enough to please a wide variety of tastes. The food is fresh, warm, and savory – I can’t say enough.
So much to choose – from different cuts and styles of meat (mostly mild), to plentiful sides to mix and match, and desserts to tempt even the fullest of bellys!
Chips are fresh, guacamole is terrific, rice and beans are authentic and oh so good – keystone signs of the best Mexican restaurants.
Tortillas and pop are replenished as needed.
Terrific service in all sectors is always greatly appreciated, and Pepe’s staff is exceptional. Christina , Fidel , and the rest of the staff are very friendly, always helpful, and extremely attentive. Muchísimas gracias! I tried the skirt steak/carne asada dinner one March 2019 evening and came away satiated and impressed. The steak (cooked to order) was succulent and tender, and could have easily been pulled apart – it was that tender. Yum! I am compelled to give more regular menu items a try on return visits.

Special Thoughts
It’s been a while since I went to this location. So I decided to go recently and I have such regret !! When I entered there was only one customer in there and one cook, and two servers. The server came with chips and salsa. The chips were stale and the salsa was EXTREMELY OK. ( I should have left but I stayed.) And ordered a lunch entree and a drink (Just an FYI there lunch specials are $14.00 and up AND NO the portion is NOT WORTH IT!) The entree had OLD FOOD mix with fresh food!! The pop tasted like plastic!!! I would have complained but I was so disgusted I just wanted to pay and leave!!! I would NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant. And that’s why I gave it the rating that I did !!!!
