The people who cook here must not like to work because they did a terrible job. I got a breakfast burrito, thinking it was going to be good and edible. Asked for everything extra crispy bacon, potatoes, and the potatoes were literally soggy and uncooked. The bacon was alright but not crispy. I had to re-cook them at home, however, still did not taste good after I air-fried them because there was no seasoning.
I added extra stars for service because they refunded me my money. The food was literally bland. I hope that they improve so that they can stay in business. We love supporting our local restaurants!

Food was awful! How do you mess up biscuits and gravy? Two small biscuits and smothered in some brown gravy, not your typical white sausage gravy, for $15! It was ridiculous. My daughter had the pancakes and they tasted way off, like a chemical taste. We didn’t even finish half of our food. Oh, and I got so sick, I threw up in their bathroom. I still paid because I didn’t want to make a fuss but I’ve never been to an establishment this horrendous. The service, not even going to go there. Take your money elsewhere if you have any respect for yourself.

Breakfast burrito – bacon, onion, jalapeno, potato, monterey jack. Perfection.

The salsa was pretty mild so it won’t overwhelm more sensitive palates. It went well with the burrito above.

The onion rings are LEGIT. I would pop in just for an order of those, and I probably will in the future.

When I was up in Grass Valley for work, I went to several other breakfast spots before coming here, and they all fell short. Delicious food, friendly (but not over the top) service, and by far the most coffee refills I’ve ever received (delicious coffee from a local roaster also). Highly recommend.

This restaurant is nestled in this really cool small town. I ordered the eggs and chorizo and papas for breakfast and they were AMAZING!!!!!!

I wish I could give this 3.5 stars. Not a 3 but also not quite a 4. I’m giving it an “average” rating because there are some things to improve. I’m hopeful that as time goes on the kinks of opening a new place are worked out. I will definitely return and try again, but there’s room for improvement. The service could be friendlier and faster. The food itself was good. I’m excited to try a few different things – their frittatas (as opposed to traditional omelettes) and their “Baskets” sound interesting.

I was staying in Grass Valley while visiting the Victorian Christmas experience in Nevada City. On my last day, we decided to explore Grass Valley and chose this place for breakfast.

Unfortunately, it was not a good experience at all. The waitress was very serious and unwelcoming, and the food was extremely disappointing. As a Mexican, I can say that the dish lacked flavor and seasoning. Seasoning is the heart of Mexican food—it comes from passion and love for cooking. Even after adding salt and pepper, I was unable to finish the meal.

When someone truly loves what they do, it shows, and in this case, it did not feel like cooking was done with that passion. I truly hope that Americans who try Mexican food here do not assume this represents Mexican cuisine as a whole, or become accustomed to believing that Mexican food is bland and flavorless—because it absolutely is not.

Waitress was really nice, but food was lacking flavor, extremely bland. No flavor at all. Biscuits and gravy was orange, and tiny biscuits and tasted like they used a bland thickener it tasted like water. The potatoes were not cooked thoroughly and again, no taste. Also, no one came to refill our coffee. Won’t be back unless we hear from friends that they do a better job with cooking. Extremely bland. Not worth the price.

Nice place. Had a corner booth. Not too busy at 11 so easy to find seating. Only 2 tables for outside, though. Ranch was $1, and I wasn’t told it was a charge. It’s still good, though. Got the chicken pesto sandwich with garlic fries.

If I can cook it better at home, I don’t want to go out. The breakfasts I’ve had here are delicious. Really tasty flavors and genuine ideas! 5 stars!!!
