My wife and I dined last week at PepeNero. We really wanted to love this place. The restaurant is really beautiful. I ordered lamb chops and they were not good, very tough and just not good. My wife ordered some pasta with an order of vegetables on the side. Her side dish came out 20 minutes late. Our waiter was ok but kept apologizing about the kitchen. We won’t be back.

PepeNero’s was definitely one of the best food experiences we’ve ever had. The food was soo good! We took advantage of it being a special celebration and tried more food options than we needed. We sat at the bar, which was a fun experience watching the kitchen and bartender (Karen) work their hearts out. It’s was definitely a busy night! Love watching that hustle n bustle in restaurants. The atmosphere was exceptional, fun, and beautiful! Being in Traverse City, it was unexpected. It had a big city’s quaint neighborhood vibe, if that makes sense. Felt like we had stumbled on a gem, one the locals would recommend to an outsider (which is how we learned of it!) Ooh, we’ll be back, and we’ll definitely be recommending this restaurant to everyone! Exceptional!

Sat at the bar for dinner. Great experience. The food is good, the desserts are phenomenal. The Bar Tender, Ryan, really made the night great though. Didn’t rush us through, chatted us up about things to do around town. Really great place to go!

We’ve visited PepeNeros four times and it is always such a treat! Serving staff is wonderfully attentive and the food is out of this world. We enjoyed several glasses of wine and a few smoked old fashioneds. Burrata, tagleire, and croquettes for apps. I had the squash soup too (forgot to grab a picture) as it’s one of my favorites and has a really nice sweetness to it. For dinner we had the filet, ravilolini, and papparedelle. And for dessert we split a tre cioccolate and semifreddo (beyond delicious). Everything was exquisite. Not a single dish was disappointing. It is worth the price. We will continue making this a regular visit when in the area.

By far one of the best Italian restaurants I have been to. The Pappardelle with the Ragu is delicious. Our waiter Brad was awesome and just rolled with our possibly loud out of control group. He made the experience. Everyone’s meals were great and delicious. This was our second time there and we will be back

This is one of the best restaurants that I have ever been to. The waiter was excellent. He was friendly knowledgeable, and more than attentive. He would guess what you would need before you even knew you needed it. The food was absolutely fantastic. we had the scallops from Maine, tuna, tartare, excellent wine by the glass. The Americano coffee was really good.
