I’m on a mission to find the best food from Spokane to CDA. After many failed attempts I went to this place with some business clients.

The place is nice business casual atmosphere. The service we got was great and our server was presentable and attentive.

I had a starter Cesar salad which had a perfect ratio of dressing to salad mixture.

For my entree I had the lamb chops. They were seasoned perfectly and cooked to a perfect medium rare as requested. They were hands down the best lamb chops I’ve ever had across all cultures and all restaurants I’ve ever had.

I will for sure be back

I have ordered everything on this menu- yes I’ve been here a lot. It’s THAT good.! 1/3 of Raji’s restaurants and definitely one you have to try! Staff is always friendly and fun! Food is amazing. I expect greatness when I walk into his establishments- and I’m always met with that. My husband, makes the best steaks- so it’s hard for me to order steak anywhere else, BUT! I’ve had the same steak here, 3 separate occasions, months apart. And every time, it’s cooked to perfection. As if they use a thermometer to get it to that perfect temp! I like medium rare, hubby likes medium well, and every time we get it- it’s cooked perfectly. And there’s a difference between mine and my husbands.! Clear difference in the meat as well. They do such a good job!!

For my partner’s birthday dinner, we brought our out of town friends to eat dinner. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and even told them that it was for his birthday. We were greeted with a friendly hostess and then seated. We were given water and then sat for about 10 minutes before the waitress acknowledged us, she had walked by us at least a dozen times. No worries, we get there are other tables but not packed busy. Unfortunately it was so loud in there from another table that I never heard her name. I did ask about getting some bread for the table and was told that we might get some with our salads, then she walked off. We did get our salads after the young man tried to deliver them to another table but no bread. Our food was delivered and very delicious!! My issue is with the service. Our waitress checked on us once but didn’t slow down enough to listen to see if we actually needed anything. I had to get someone’s attention twice to even have our waters refilled, and when they did fill one glass, the person had to be called back for the other glasses. We were never asked if we wanted to go boxes, dessert and definitely nothing was said about the birthday! I love the food but will avoid the liberty lake location from now on.

Went on a Sunday for dinner. Very nice employees and our server was very attentive and kind. Really neat place too, cozy with the fireplace. We both had the burgers which looked good when presented but didn’t taste so good. Not fresh made, dry bun, thin patty with the consistency of a pre made frozen patty. The seasoning on the burger and fries was very salty to the point it was burning my lips. Was hoping for better quality food so this is a miss for us.

Took my friend here for her birthday dinner on Valentine’s Day (yep, that’s her bday). We were greeted with smiles and taken to our seats in the front area close to the fireplace. They have a full bar with seating. Happy Hour. Funny catchy names for specialty drinks. We went during happy hour and wasn’t all that busy in the eating areas. The bar was a different story lol. They offer a decent menu with shareable plates that have happy hour prices that’s what we ordered. I mean why order 2 meals when you can order a few different ones and try different meals. Perfect! We ordered the Italian Burrata Salad, lamb burgers (no bun), sweet potato fries and bowl of pasta. The salad, burgers and fries were delish. Oh my the salad was made with fresh tomatoes and a big ol’ ball of burrata, definite must try. Fries were packed with flavor. Burgers were the perfect bite size little things just enough to give us a good ol’ taste. Bowl of pasta was a bit bland, lacked flavor. Service was spot on, friendly and fast.

We walked in and were greeted with a very friendly host. The bartender was absoluly amazing and the espresso martinis were to die for. The appetizers we had brussels sprouts, the pesto, artichoke dip, and the sweet potato fries. They were absolutely amazing. One of my friends had a ribeye that was phenomenal, but then I had the pesto Angel hair pasta, and my other girlfriend had the Seabass. The pasta was like eating mashed potatoes. It came out in clumps, and the Seabass was like eating a spoonful of oil. We then had the crème brûlée the cheesecake and the chocolate torte. The only one that was any good was the crème brûlée. It was absolutely phenomenal. I would go just for the appetizers, the drinks and the crème brûlée. Thanks for the amazing service.

I just love the Pentagon. It’s so nice to have something a little different but guaranteed delicious locally. And the cocktails are *chef’s kiss*.

Sierra was our waitress and she was friendly, professional, attentive to all of our needs. The Pentagon has happy hours with ‘Shareable’ appetizers which were plentiful AND delicious! The martini menu offers clever options laced with hilarious descriptions of past political figures. We’ll be back! Thank you, Sierra.

The food was good, our steak was cooked to our expectations. We told our server we didn’t want salad but it was served. We ordered drinks that took over 10 minutes to be served. When ordering our steak, we were not asked how we wanted it to be cooked. The cocktails were good and priced reasonably. Definitely not 5 stars.

Last night my friend and I had the opportunity to try the Pentagon Bistro & Martini in Liberty Lake. I would definitely recommend calling ahead and making a reservation. The place was very busy for a Wednesday evening at 6 PM.

The wait wasn’t too bad though. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes for a table.

We both ordered appetizers. Their Brussel Sprouts and their Button Mushrooms.

The Brussel Sprouts were roasted and then coated in a sticky-sweet teriyaki-like sauce. The menu described the sauce as “spicy yet savory.” The sauce was definitely more sweet than spicy or savory.

The mushrooms were okay. You definitely get a lot of them. They are all small mushrooms, which is nice.

Between the appetizers and the entrees, we were bought out a very underwhelming presentation of bread. The bread was in a basket, set atop a single packet of butter. Yes, a packet of butter!

Our entrees each included a Caesar salad. I liked it, the dressing wasn’t a creamy dressing , more oil based. It was also covered in a lot of shaved Parmesan. I liked that aspect but my friend isn’t a huge fan of Parmesan, so it wasn’t her favorite.

For entrees, my friend went with her favorite, Chilean Sea Bass. It was served with thin asparagus spears (which she and I both prefer) and potato croquettes, which tasted a lot like a loaded baked potato in small pancake shapes. As for the Sea Bass, she said she liked the way it was grilled and the seasoning on the outside was good. The actual fish was a little mushy. This is her go-to at a lot of places, so I trust her opinion on the fish.

As for me, I tried something I have never had anywhere so have nothing for comparison. I ordered the Cioppino. I have to say that it was outstanding! The broth had a delicious and robust tomato and basil flavor. It was loaded with lots of fish and served with a couple pieces of bread. I don’t eat a lot of bread, but if I did, I think they could really improve on that aspect.

Their martinis are reasonably priced ($11 or $9 during happy hour), with several options. I had their Dirty Monica, which was a dirty vodka martini.

If we go back, it’ll be for happy hour to try more of their shareable items or one of their salads.
