At Lee Chen in Aurora, we provide a wide variety of Asian and Chinese dishes along with an extensive drink list including a wine selection. After all, the best dining experiences combine both excellent service and delicious food, and we have both!
The magic of Asian, and in fact Chinese cuisine, is the art of sharing. A warm meal shared between friends and family, with laughter, is the essence of Chinese food.
Our goal is not only to provide the best food, but also a warm and welcoming atmosphere for those who visit us.

The food quality and environment are very good. We ordered dim sum, xiaolongbao, shengjianbao, and dumplings. I will come again.

If you’re a small eater like me and my sister, you could probably split one bowl of beef noodle soup with another small eater for $20. It was midly spicy and we got the one with beef tendon. After our meal, our waitress served us red bean sesame balls as a free dessert! We came at 7pm on a Wednesday so there was a lot of seating.

My wife was there with her bestie. They were there at 7 and ordered food at 7:15. The servers gave them the bill at 8:10 saying that they were closing even though the restaurant was supposed to close at 9:00 as posted at the front. They ushered them out into the cold at 8:20 and would not let my wife wait for me to pick her up. Very rude. Very disappointing. Very bad attitude. Definitely not going back, ever.

I’ve ordered takeout from Lee Chen on multiple occasions, but finally this week I went in for the à la cart experience. The decor was very nice, it’s refreshing and very clean. The servers were tentative and considerate of our seating needs as we went in with our baby and stroller.
For the food, we’ll it was always good as takeout, but now even better that we could have it right away – straight out of the kitchen. Their rice dishes are great for splitting with 3 people and the braised beef noodle dish was flavourful and great for a single meal. We also had some meat dishes which were all so delicious.
The team was also kind enough to offer us a couple of yummy fried sesame balls to top off our meal. Overall a great experience and we will definitely visit as well as order out again.

I’m their downtown location regular, came here to meet with a relative who lives in Barry, made a reservation and they gave us a very nice booth by the window. The manager Amy and Hans were a veteran couple who runs Mongolian Grill for this chain until the pandemic. Dishes are as good as their other locations, it’s a well controlled central kitchen concept that allows customers to enjoy great meal in every restaurant they owned.
One downside is you’ll have to pack your own leftover.

Visited for a late lunch on Sunday with my family of 5. First thought was that this place is beautiful, great atmosphere, super clean and spacious and washrooms were clean too. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The only thing I was not a fan of was the pork spare ribs, I didn’t like the sauce as it wasn’t the normal black bean sauce but it was very tender. We used a tablet to order our food. Everything came just as it appeared on the menu. It is pricy but I don’t expect any less to be honest. Portions weren’t huge but we got enough to share and take home. Overall great experience and great food, more fancy than your average fast food type of Chinese food

We were in Toronto’s theater district for a concert and looking for something new. Lee Chen Asian Bistro on King Street fit the bill.
Quiet comfortable atmosphere, attentive staff and GREAT food! You can choose from a menu of appetizers mains and desserts or the 3 Course menu which offers a soup, choice of main dish all of which come with steamed rice and spring rolls and chicken of dessert.
They also offer a nicely rounded beverage list of wones, beers, ciders and hot and cold non alcoholic beverages. We went for the 3 course menu. Everything was fresh, flavorful and flling. Elevated Chinese cuisine but “everyday favourite tske away prices”! Our bill with tip was less than $100. All steps from RoyThomson Hall and The Royal Alex theater. A hidden gem for sure!

Other than the spicy beef noodle, the other dishes were not very authentically Chinese or Korean. Perhaps it is catering to the western palate. Dim sum steamed dishes were small and generic.
