What an outstanding first experience! Our server, Shannon, was so welcoming and fun(ny). Her attention to details was so good and her recommendations were excellent! She was incredibly accommodating too…when I asked about the chocolate cake and if it could be slightly warmed, she said of course and delivered it with the glass of milk I asked about. In addition to that delicious cake I suggest the Ruby Trout and the Shrimp Scampi! I can’t wait to return and try Shannon’s other recommendations!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the waiter and owner were incredibly welcoming and friendly. For dinner, I ordered the seafood stew, and I was blown away by the amazing taste and generous portion size. The only thing that could be improved is ensuring that there are no little crushed shells or fish bones in the dish (though I know that can be difficult with seafood!). Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to try some delicious Southern Italian cuisine.

Fabulous!! The owner/chef Pepe was so nice and personable. He found out it was my son’s birthday and a vegetarian and he sent out several appetizers for us to try since this was our first time there. We will definitely be back!!! Amazing cuisine!

Nice place with relaxed vibe. Staff was very pleasant , service was little slow but felt like they were missing staff. Pizza was excellent. Found some of the food/ sauce little salty.

We came to Peno after a recommendation from a family member that they offered authentic yet upscale Italian cuisine. It was the winter time, so I was especially pleased to see that their outdoor deck was open. They inclosed it and had very well-placed gas heaters as well.

Classic Italian fare. The menu isn’t what I would call “adventurous” but what they do make, they make it outstanding. They do have outstanding daily specials that are more off the beaten path. The service is outstanding, the patio is very nice, and atmosphere overall is very relaxed. They’re reasonably priced for upscale dining and they’ve got a solid drink menu.

All the food is yummy and locally sourced. The flavor pallets of the chef are insane.

We were so excited to try this spot! The front patio was super cute and the ambience inside was nice and elegant, great music as well. We ordered an Italian red wine and a dirty martini, both good. For appetizers we had the tucci salad (very good) and their new burrata dish with brown butter, peaches, tomatoes, and balsamic. The tomatoes were insanely amazing and the brown butter pairing with the burrata was dangerous but heavenly, the peaches didnt add too much tho. I was deciding HARD between pasta (always my go-to) or the seafood stew which our server claimed was “life-changing”. I decided to trust the server. Unfortunately, the dish lacked any flavor at all. The broth was just basically water, no salt or pepper. Im not a fan of red sauce but I had to ask for it on the side to add some sort of flavor to my meal. I was also excited for the risotto that came in the meal but it was just overcooked rice without seasoning, I wanted to love this place so badly. We also got the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were goo but the pasta was overcooked. Overall, we loved the ambience and want to give this spot another try, but very upsetting when a dish is talked up but doesnt live up to the hype 🙁

Overall the food was good, the customer service good but they were a little understaffed. Very surprised that I got the wine in a regular glass and the expresso in a little whisky glass.
