A very neat little sub restaurant, the food was pretty good and they had it out to us pretty quick. Penn Station offers a pretty good selection of subs, including sizes, sides, and add-ons for your sub. James addressed us when we came in and was very friendly and patient with us when we ordered, and he also brought our food to us at our table when we sat down. The restaurant was also pretty clean and organized. I would definitely come back to this restaurant when i’m in town again and would recommend it to anyone who haven’t tried this before

Went once and won’t do it again. Food is less than a get for the price. The Italian was suppose to be on wheat and have pickle and no onion but they just did it the way they wanted. Good thing I didn’t eat much since I have food allergies to onions. My son couldn’t finish the Caesar wrap that was overloaded with dressing. The pizza sub was greasy and no pizza sauce so not sure how it’s a pizza sub. Oh well be and done.
When ordering all you heard was from the person in charge this isn’t McDonald’s we don’t do combos. Well one you’re a sub shop so not comparable. If you want a comparable then I would say gas station food that’s been sitting around with no flavor. Wasn’t impressed by the service or food.

Everytime i come here it takes 30+ minutes to get one sub and a side of fries. This time they only have one person working so my sub took like 40 minutes even with ordering ahead of time. Perfect I wait forever and my sub is very obviously two different pieces of bread and barely has any meat!!! I only go here instead of Jersey Mikes because y’all have fries but i’m not coming anymore after this. It’s ridiculous. $10 for this sub to literally get worse than subway quality. Thanks. If y’all wanna give me a refund that would be amazing cause i wasted my money

Love Penn Station. Everything is always fresh and cook-to-order. I usually get the Off the Grill Italian sub with fresh French fries and a large delicious lemonade. Their chocolate chunk cookies are amazing too the atmosphere is always inviting and usually seating is available. You may have trouble finding parking. Not usually a major issue. I would highly recommend.

Updating my review as the owner reached out and I wanted to give it another shot after a less than awesome experience, and I am glad I did.
While yes, their sandwiches do take more time than other sammy shops, they’re grilled and the fries freshly made, so when they’re busy, it can time some extra time. The woman working was by herself but everything was great and she was very nice also. Sandwiches were fresh and the fries generous. Everything was made perfectly and the price aptly reflects the quality/portion.

We got done with our wrestling dual and needed to grab a bite to eat. When we pulled in the parking lots it’s looked like they may be closed but the hours were still in their working hours. They were kind enough to get us fed and their new guy working the register was super nice and helpful. The two ladies working the kitchen got everything out to us in record time. Great place and great employees. Thank you for helping us out!

I wish I could give this place negative stars. I’d never been there before and we chose to go there for my birthday. Before we even approached the counter, the woman was looking at us with impatience and we weren’t greeted. She mumbled our total to us, we placed our order, and my husband asked for ketchup to go with the large bucket of fries they sell. They acted like it was killing them to give us freaking ketchup, and they only gave him 5 packets. When those inevitably ran out, he went back to ask for more and the guy said they’re almost out of ketchup so he only gave us 2 more packets. They were out of lids for their drink cups so our kids were disappointed that they couldn’t take their drinks with us when we left. They both looked as though they hated their miserable lives so much that they would gladly step in front of a Mack truck and end it. If I had known that, we wouldn’t have bought drinks. Honestly, if I had known they’d be stingy with the ketchup we would’ve eaten somewhere else. I won’t ever go back there!

It took us 38 minutes to get our one sub and we were put behind online orders. We ordered to go and we’re not warned of the wait. When we finally got our sub, it was completely wrong. Our cheese steak had no mushrooms and we ordered them, no pickles and we ordered them and they added tomatoes which we did NOT want. And light mayo ended up being a pond of it. We will never be back to this location in Dickson, TN.
