I came in by necessity, I’ve seen this place on the road a million times and always said, “someday”. Well today, fate had it out for me and demanded I run out of time to drive if I didn’t take a break before I got where I wanted to, and this was where I chose and well worth the stop, so good I hope to stop again. I had the lunch #6 burrito jarocho, it was delicious. The only problem with the service is that I don’t speak Spanish well enough to communicate, otherwise, they were very polite and the food was ready very quickly. The atmosphere is great but can’t decide if it’s a cheap Mexican restaurant or a Christian coffee shop. But the food makes it worth the trouble and a plush, there is truck parking for those eating there. Oh, and it is handicap accessible, though the ramp and door are narrow, so if you’re stopping though and don’t know if it’s big enough for you to get your mobility devices through the door you may need to keep going.

If you’ve never had a torta in your entire life, please let your first one be theirs. If you have had a torta before, stop in and get one anyway and see how they measure up. Everything on the menu is great, but that torta and their horchata hold a special place in the heart of my belly! They invested in food over ambience, but this place is definitely worth a visit.

Great food and fast! We had around 20 people in total from our family memorial service meet for lunch here. We didn’t have long to wait for the entire meal to be served. The kids didn’t even have a chance to complain. The prices were very fair, especially for the portions!
Everyone fell on their food too quickly for pictures… But it was amazing! My only regret is getting regular instead of hot sauce. My Texas taste buds were expecting a bit more heat, but that’s on me and my expectations. No one else seemed to mind at all.

Overall this place was awesome! Their food was great, the tamales weren’t dry like most other places. Their rice was super tasty and full of flavor, and paired wonderfully with their food. The quesadilla was tasty and chicken packed. While ordering the person had a very friendly welcoming tone, got all of our orders right. The people around us seemed to be hanging out and talking, super comfortable being there and eating. It’s a nice place and overall the employees were super kind -Wheeler.

The food was fantastic. I had the two burritos #12 with chorizo. My husband had the #13 burritos. With steak both were wonderful. If you are hungry don’t pass them by.

Had the tamale , It was very good, so good I forgot to take a photo of it. We are just passing though town but noticed this place was busy and decided to try it out. Not disappointed at all, would stop by again if we passed through town while out on another adventure. Good authentic Mexican food. Price was fair.
