In my opinion, this place is overrated. Good flavor selection? Yes. Price? It could be better. But if you do decide to go here, you should get the waffle cone moose tracks. It’s pretty good. There’s better ice cream on the Cape however and when you have this much good ice cream on the Cape, you can’t justify.

What a fun little spot with great ice cream! Shot out to the staff who were happy, friendly and made some great ice cream. Good employees are hard to find and you have some amazing ones! Definitely try the waffle cones they are delicious! My little Norman enjoyed his pup cup

Penguins is awesome! The ice cream is super yummy, with tons of fun flavors to choose from. The waffle cones are super crunchy and fresh, which makes everything even better. The new owner is doing a great job, the place has a fun vibe and feels very welcoming. The staff are all friendly and efficient, even when it’s busy! Definitely one of our favorite spots in the area. Can’t wait to come back!

Sad to give this since we have really liked it in the past but the service was horrible. Greeting staff seemed miserable to be there. All 3 orders were wrong and 2 of the 3 had large chunks of ice in them. All of us ordered 1 scoop of one flavor and another scoop of a different flavor. 2 of us got 2 scoops of the same flavor and a strange topping neither asked for. Our 3rd part simply got the wrong flavor. Line had got long and it was late so we ate what we were given then left. So many other places to go so that’s the plan tonight.

Poor service and ice cream. Takes a very long time to order as they hand write each order and then another worker comes to read the sheet of paper and can’t decipher the handwriting so then they interrupt the order taker and then this repeats for each order. A truly bizarre experience. Ice cream is also just bought and then served, like it’s not a place that makes their own or has connection to a farm or anything so it’s mediocre ice cream at best. You are better off getting a pint at the super market than wasting your time and money at this spot. Shocked at the 4.6 rating on google maps.

Overpriced. Almost $18 for two medium ice creams is outrageous, especially when the servings are so skimpy.
My ice cream had ice chunks making me wonder how old it was or if freezer are working correctly. Definitely needs a Serve Safe Inspection.

I am so disappointed. This place was our favorite. This used to be our go to spot. They told us earlier this year it was bought by the water park across the street. Now the service is extremely slow and the quality of the ice cream stinks. The line takes over an hour every time we have gone this year. They are hideously understaffed, woefully under trained and stingy on the ice cream and toppings. We gave it a fair chance but now, after their fifth chance this year, we are giving up. Every time we have waited forever and had multiple mistakes on our orders. We will now have to drive farther away to the establishments that have some pride.
