Online says open at 12 (no restrictions) we got here with very happy kiddos. Sign on the window says opens at 2. This was a treat for something so we decided to wait 20 min until 2pm. 2pm comes and no one shows up. We call and get hung up on twice. Finally get their voicemail and says they are closed to the season. No updated hours online, no updated sign. Wasted too much time to have a very disappointed child. Voicemail is full so no way to contact and let them know their business practice is outdated with old, hard to read signs. It’s free and takes 2 clicks to update hours online. It’s $5 to buy a larger yard sign saying closed. It is still fall….. end of season. Open daily means open daily during fall.

We’re visiting from Nebraska. This place is super amazing! OMG! I cannot believe how many fun flavors they have. If we had more time, I would have visited everyday until I tried all their flavors! Yum! Yum! Yum! The prices are very reasonable and worth every lick & bite. We didn’t have to wait long for our orders. I wish they stayed open longer but I’m just happy that someone was working! Thank you for opening your business!

They have a million flavors!!! It’s always good. And they are pretty quick at this location. The sugar free options aren’t the greatest, but otherwise the rest of the flavors are on point. Try the 49er one!

Nice place. You’ll miss it if your driving normal speed. They have a ton of flavors and toppings. We got largers, but would get a reguy next time as the large is a lot. Cones had good flavor and the ice was soft. Would definitely stop again if I’m in the area.

Whomever is working today at the Pelican’s in Harrisburg, NC is absolutely !!! This Key Lime snow cone along with the Strawberry Cheesecake with Cream snow cone are the best we have EVER had. The crew today has figured it out. We didn’t wait long, service was outstanding and the mix of ice and “juice” is spot on…just right!!!!!!

Have always lived this Pelicans as it’s close to our home, great service, and amazing sno balls. But after a recent visit, we’ll go elsewhere. Not sure if ownership changed or it was just lack of caring, but things have changed. You’re now charged $.50 per cup (listed as extra flavor) and the quality of the snowballs were horrible. Hard ice to the point that you can barely eat it. One of them even had a full ice cycle in it (see photo), which could’ve ended badly. If you want to charge for cups, build it into the price. I really think it’s just a way to use as a tip. This is as bad as McDonald’s trying to charge for a bag for your food. Please stop the nickel and diming on everything. It makes for a bad customer experience. We know prices have gone up, but to all customer’s to pay for their cup separately is wild. Now if I bring my own cup…

They changed locations from last so I originally thought they closed down in general. Glad we drove down the street a little further & saw their new location. This is a Sunday treat after church for my son since we don’t live on this side of town but go to church over here. New location is better; has more parking but in the summer very little shade & its can get hot when waiting to order. However, I learned the hard way they have a drive-thru at this location which is great! I got to try it out on the second visit & it was quick! My first visit I accidentally misread the card reader & left a hefty tip! ♀️ The staff called the owner & they quickly refunded the money, but still gave a tip to all the employees. I like that they seem to employee students as well. Gives them the opportunity to do something fun while building a work ethic & make some money in the process. I loved the pelican bucks you can buy that basically gives you a free sno ball. Not sure if they still do it since I didn’t see signage & forgot to ask but I will next time. They offer lots of flavors & really good! If you into sno balls/ shaved ice like my husband then you know they are not all the same! Lol! We will continue to support.
