This restaurant has held a special place for us for over 20 years. Today was a great memory for the books. A cozy lunch – Dave our sever was kind – attentive and had a great sense of humor. Honestly some of the best service we’ve received in ages. The chowder was delicious! Of course a cream ale by the ocean never disappoints!

Really enjoyed this restaurant. Had a Caesar salad and toast. The homemade jam was delicious. My husband had the clam chowder and liked it. The waitress was very friendly and nice.
Loved the view of the ocean and Haystack Rock.
The bathroom was amazing!

This place is really all about the location and atmosphere. I can only have gluten-free beer and they didn’t have any real options other than cider. They have a full bar for cocktails- I got a half dozen oyster shooters- a rum and coke- and some French fries. Bill was $54.00. A little steep considering the order.

This was a really great place. You can’t beat the view. This was recommended to me and o can see why. The food was great, great quality, good flavor, I have to say some of my favorite fries is Oregon. We had some burgers and the ingredients including the beef are all locally sourced. It’s a solid spot to check out.

Just a bar on the beach. A few mediocre positives: Okish fish and chips. A good bloody mary. Fries were delivered to me cold, and inedible. I guess the coffee was good, and hubs liked the corned beef hash breakfast special.
Negatives? Oh there are plenty.
Shared bathroom with men. Definitely a No. Men just dont use toilet seats correctly and there’s no way to ensure a clean toilet if a man has no reason to be neat. Nasty.
Stupid process to get a table. Sign up, then wait for a text. Many empty tables but still, we wait.
Once she showed us to our table, we noticed it hadn’t been wiped down. The bench seats were wet and there were bits of food scattered on them. She looked offended when I requested a cloth to clean the area, but she didn’t bother to do it herself.
Waiters took more than 8 minutes to acknowledge us at the table, even though we were seated by a hostess, after we waited for a text to tell us a table was ready. Food took 13 minutes to arrive.
And the main reason to avoid this pigsty, which is probably not the fault of the restaurant: there is a steady stream of non customers, just cruising through the dining area to get to the beach. Why they allow this, when the sidewalk is exactly right outside the window….its just beyond belief.
Some people’s children. I swear.

This has been a favorite of mine for many years-food 5 stars-staff 5 stars-this is THE place to be! Best restaurant on the beach with the coolest views. So go order a Tsunami burger or dungeness mac n’ cheese, pair it with a tall glass of pelican root beer and watch the waves from the to experience pure bliss.

The food was okay. I had the shrimp tacos. I’ve had better, and I’ve had worse. They had a decent beer selection. I really enjoyed the blond stout. The view could not be better. Amazing location! We even spotted two whales while eating on the patio!

The food was great. I mean the server asked how I wanted to the burger cooked, I said pink and it came like that. So many restaurants now a days overcook the burgers. There is an open kitchen and everything look organized and clean. I seafood linguini was really fresh and my aunt liked it. The brownie was also quite delicious. I would come back! The bathrooms were very clean and I was impressed with how organized everything seemed.

It is very enjoyable for me and my family every time we go here. The food is outstanding, the service is excellent, and we haven’t had to wait very long to be seated during any of our dining experiencs their. The view of the ocean and surrounding beach is fantastic, and the atmosphere and esthetic are energetic and feel very contemporary. Check out the pictures of the food, i think those pictures speak volumes about this dining experience.

We traveled to Pacific City even though we were staying in Lincoln City tonight to eat at Pelican B. I called two weeks ago and asked if we needed reservations for Valentine’s Day and was told no it would be first come first served. When we arrived we were told it could be up to 1 hour wait because we didn’t have reservations. The hostess was kind of snotty when I told her I called and was told we wouldn’t need a reservation. Her excuse was basically it wasn’t her fault. We were seated at the bar, so no ocean view. My fish and chips were ok, they seem afraid to give me enough ketchup for the fries, the cole slaw should go in the trash it was disgusting. A $28 plate of fish and chips worth about $12. Prices are exorbitant now compared to two years ago when the food and service was fantastic. Today the service was under par as well. My server didn’t bother to refill my tea but asks the gentle Next to us if he wanted another beer. Super disappointed considering we live in North Eastern Oregon. Too many other great places on the coast to dine and drink to waste another trip back here.
