The place was slow for a Sunday afternoon, so i got my take out food right away. Pork fried rice and egg roll were great, the boneless spare ribs so so. Masks are expected, and it doesn’t look like they’re doing dining in.

Food is OK. However every time I order, 2 mins after placing order online, they call you if you have not added a tip to the order and blatantly ask if you are going to tip on your card, if not they request you to. I prefer to give cash tips and calling customers for tips is very, very unprofessional. Tips are a courtesy from the customer in appreciation of your service. You are never supposed to ask for a tip also, my order status informs delivery time is expected in a little over an hour. I am only a few mins away. That’s not great service and then for you to call inquiring about a tip and you haven’t delivered is even worse. Disappointed! Makes the customer know you only care about your money and don’t care about the quality of food or giving good services to customers.

I spent $110.00 for a large family dinner. Shrimp tempura roll was over fried so much we couldn’t even bite it. And then my 6 year old finds a piece of a plastic bag IN the egg roll she was eating. We are lucky this didnt get it stuck in her throat. When I went back to say something I was told “no problem” like it was no big deal. Well it is a big deal. I think the words you are looking for are ” very sorry”.

You eat here make sire you check your food for plastic. Never again for us!!!

Basil fried rice didn’t have any basil, chicken chow mein had no noodles, in what world does chow mein not have noodles? Eggs rolls were the only redeeming part of the meal. Won’t be back.

I’m not usually one to leave a bad review, but we spent $165 for 5 people, between us there were 15+ menu items. It was, without a doubt, the worst meal any of us have ever had. No point in going through item by item, it’s all gross. Not a single redeeming bite. It all went in the trash.

Horrible. Dirty. Greasy food.

The photo is a total lie. This filthy little Asian restaurant’s fish tank is dried up and dead. The floor hasn’t been swept since Reagan was president.

The wait staff shouted at us to order. The food came out on paper plates looking as if it was previously eaten (pre-eaten for your enjoyment). The dumplings had an off taste. I’m waiting for the food poisoning to kick in.

We won’t be going back. I’d advise to bring your own barf bag if you decide to eat here.

Food was disgusting. Chicken wings tasted old and they were greasy and burned. Rice was hard. Fries were burned and tasted like they were dropped in the chicken grease. And had the nerve to say minimum delivery is $25. The only reason I kept the food is because my kid was hungry. Other than that it was thrown in the garbage. Delivery guy was nice though

Be prepared for your sushi to take 2 hours and 15 minutes to come 2 miles down the road. I ordered $70 in food to wait 2 hours and 15 minutes to arrive. Sushi none the less which requires no cooking. Before it arrived I called the restaurant to find out where my food was. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude and said “it will be there soon”. My estimated delivery time was supposed to be 45 minutes. Once the food arrived and I realized the order was incorrect I called again. The same rude woman answered the phone and began explaining they are just very busy and refused me a refund. There are SO MANY BETTER places to spend your hard earned money in the Allentown area. Don’t waste your time, money, or brain cells even ordering here. This place needs a serious customer service overhaul in case they forgot how a business should be run. If possible I would rate this place negative stars.

Our delivery experience with Peking Chinese Restaurant was far from satisfying. To start, the hot and sour soup we eagerly anticipated was disappointingly watery, lacking the richness it’s known for.

The moo shoo pork was another letdown. The container arrived cracked, and instead of addressing the issue before sending it out, they merely wrapped it in a bag, making for an unsightly presentation.

The usually delightful scallion pancakes turned out to be quite dry and lacked the expected flavor. Meanwhile, my girlfriend’s dumplings had an overcooked appearance and tasted of old oil, suggesting they weren’t freshly made.

Beyond the food, our overall experience made us question the restaurant’s standards, as some aspects felt like potential health code oversights. Given our experience, we’re hesitant to order from Peking Chinese Restaurant again.
