Used to be our favourite Chinese. Something has changed dramatically and I doubt I’ll be ordering again. The crispy duck was very burnt. I couldn’t ring, they had closed and my order arrived after 11pm.

I ordered a home delivery and I had never had food from here, it was the only one open in the area. Im so glad, since moving here three years ago I haven’t found a chinese on par with the one I used to use before I moved.
The food is fresh, non greasy, packed with veg and seemed like a healthy version of chicken curry, egg fried rice and Singapore chow mein. It was low in salt and there was no oil floating on top of the curry.
Peking house will be our go to from now!

Food delivered very fast!
All dishes we ordered were above standard, not greasy and still very hot. Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely buy again next time.

Absolutely amazing!!! Because they saw that I had my kids with me, they gave them free fortune cookies and my kids were very happy. The food was piping hot when I got it, portion sizes are very large. Especially the egg fried rice, it was very nice my kids really liked it. Will be coming back again, and will always come here. My number one take away!!! There’s nothing about it that’s bad, LOCAL BEST!!!

In my opinion, the best Chinese takeaway in Coalville. Everything has been tasty, the portions are good and the prices reasonable. People complain about the wet chowmein… Well, order it dry?! Don’t you read?! Personally I like the choice. My only two complaints are the salt and pepper chips aren’t worth it, portion and taste could use some work. And they left for a holiday and I was forced to cheat on them and try another place (which was terrible). But Everything else is great, cant fault it. Not stupidly salty either.

Literally just picked up my order of chicken chow mein and can’t even eat it. Drowning in salt! It’s not edible. Not even going to make the effort to get a refund as it’s one dish but if I’d ordered more I’d be complaining at the desk!!! Don’t order if you don’t want to be eating literal salt noodles

Bang average Chinese. As someone else mentioned the chips are pretty poor, can’t have been cooked fresh, reheated and taste day old. You do get a fortune cookie though. Rest of the food was OK but I’ll be back to my regular next time.

Ordered a delivery from here a few weeks ago, I have been meaning to write a review but… life… Anyway when I saw so many negative comments on here I couldn’t believe it was food from the same place we’d used.
We ordered through Just Eat, huge mistake, massively inflated prices. Won’t be doing that again. Delivery arrived 5 minutes before expected, driver was polite too.
We ordered a fair amount of food from Peking House, variety of starters, 4 or 5 main dishes, rice, noodles, etc. Everything was spot on, some of the tastiest Chinese dishes I’ve had, and I’m no spring chicken. We were all impressed with the quality and quantity of the food and we’ll definitely be using here again. All in all it’s the best Chinese takeaway I can remember getting.

First time using this takeaway, wasn’t disappointed. Food arrived on time, piping hot and really great quality. Delivery driver (sorry, didn’t get her name) was really great, gave me loads of info about ordering direct from their website next time… better prices and delivery costs than ordering though JustEat!
You get 10% off your first order online, and if you register an account with them you can collect points for every pound you spend.
Will definitely recommend to others and use again soon.
