My boyfriend’s family loves to try new restaurants and foods, so this time I joined them with going to this Chinese restaurant and it was great. Food – This was the first time in my life that I tried duck and it was tasty. We ordered it extra crispy which provided a good crunch texture on the pancakes we all ate. String beans were tasty in my opinion. The pork with garlic beans sprouts had a bit too much soy sauce though. Definitely pay for the extra cucumber to eat it with the duck because it provides the dish with a freshness and crunch too. Service- excellent prompt, professional and white glove (plates your food and teaches you how to eat the duck). I was very impressed and extremely happy with the high quality of service. Vibe – formal Chinese dinning room with white table cloths and famous people on the walls which provides this retro aesthetic a little. Overall, I would recommend this place for a special occasion experience.

We have been going to this place for more than 20 years. Unfortunately, it’s nothing like it used to be. The jew yen shrimp the last few times I had it was fishy. The chicken with cashews was tasteless and the beef with spring onion was so fatty. The duck however has always been good and is always the same.

Wow this restaurant is a classic for a reason, no wonder so many presidents and famous people have eaten here. The food tastes so fresh, because it is-straight from a farm in southern Virginia. If you haven’t checked out this neighborhood staple, you need to go here for your next celebration, or even just a special treat. Your tummy will thank you, and the dining ambience experience is great too!

My family and I had a fabulous Valentine’s Dinner for three. We enjoyed duck with the fixing, egg rolls, shrimp fried rice, white rice, and Szechuan beef. The food was DELICIOUS. The duck was cooked and sliced table side and it was an amazing experience. Hanna was very attentive and the manager Mei came by to greet all customers.
