They have always had my favorite food. It is always hot and fresh, I just wish they would bring back the bar. I see no reason to sit in the restaurant otherwise. Therefore the atmosphere is a moot point here.

I got lunch to go because the other restaurants in town are closed on Mondays. I ordered the General chicken (that’s what the menu says – I’m assuming it is General Tso) and chicken fried rice. You get soup with your meal if you dine in. However, if you get it to go, no soup. The general chicken had a watery, flavorless sauce with very little spice. The chicken in the chicken fried rice was a grey color and not good.

Paid $70 for 3 of us to eat, 2 of us did not order a drink, just water…The tea tasted like it had been sitting for two weeks, the scallops were cold and raw…..I will say that the hot n sour soup was good, but if I’m going to pay $70 for Chinese food again, It better be PF Chang Good!….I will not be back.

This is one of my favorites in Sylacauga. The menu has something for everyone. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are huge! Unlike most Chinese restaurants the buffet is closed. You can call ahead for take out, and it will be piping hot!

The food was really good, although it is a little pricey but it was still delicious. One complaint I have is about the white fish in the fish tank, I feel like he’s far too big to be in such a small tank where he can’t swim around. He just kept ramming his head into the side of the tank, and he couldn’t turn around. I felt so bad for him. I wish they could get him a tank with more room! I hope they will actually consider the comfort of their aquatic animals. I know they are just fish, but they still are still living creatures who deserve our respect, not to be confined to a cramped tank.

Have enjoyed Peking Garden for years. The service is always friendly. The have a pretty good selection on the buffet. The items on the buffet are kept fresh. It’s an older restaurant but it still gets the job done. The menu items are also very good. Call in orders are handled fast, which is great for lunch. I brought mother here a lot and I will always remember the friendliness of the staff.
