I’m giving Peking 2 stars — one for convenience of location and one because the food was still hot after my 10-minute drive home. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell short.
I paid $30 for two combo plates, and while the temperature was fine, the dishes lacked flavor. I asked for extra soy sauce, and although the young man at the window was polite and provided two additional packets, there were only two in the bag to begin with, which still wasn’t enough to improve the meal.
It’s disappointing to see how much this place has declined. For the price, it no longer feels worth it. Honestly, driving to the Sikeston buffet ends up being cheaper and offers noticeably better food.

I noticed the prices getting higher. However, I spoke to the manager after being charged $5 extra. Receipts aren’t given to customers and the prices aren’t accurately listed. Just a heads up to ask for a breakdown on prices, per a customers right. Loved this place until today. I definitely feel taken advantage of, after years of being a frequent customer

I don’t think the portion size and quality matches the price, but I can’t vote 3.5 and can’t bring myself to put a 3 on the food. I very much enjoy the restaurant. A little more affordable or a bigger portion and thickening up the sauce a little (can’t get a little runny at times and doesn’t stick with veggies, etc.) Would do wonders.
You’re pretty close to the other patrons. Not really a place you can take your time in, visit, etc. For me, it’s more of a get in, eat, and get out experience. Not bad, but not great. Always feel a little rushed.
All in all I think it’s a solid 4 and will happily return.

Yeah the food was horrible. It has been a while since I’ve eaten there and the food is usually on point. I ordered the same dish that I usually have which is the beef mei fun and it was horrible my dog wouldn’t even eat it I don’t know what happened sorry Peking,
