We have ate at this location 100+ times, and never an issue in the past. Tonight was mine and my wife’s 13th anniversary, we made reservations 2 days before considering it was gonna be Valentine’s Day. Reservations was at 8 we get there at 7:40 and the place is a mad house, lobby is full. We get checked in and was able to get a seat in the lobby. Literally everyone that was waiting when we got there got a table and the lobby kept filling up over and over again. About 8:30 I went up to check when they were gonna take the 8 o’clock reservations… The young lady informed us that they were clearing a table that it would be any moment, so I go back and sit with my wife. No more do I sit down she made an announcement stating that if your not called in this group they had another table they were currently clearing… We didn’t call in the first group of 10, nor for the second table… Well by this time they started calling the 8:30 reservation up, for the third table. I tell my wife we are leaving if they don’t call us next, sure enough they didn’t, so I go up and express my dislike about the situation, and they were like we promise you will be next, this was at 8:50 I just told them to cancel. But what got me is just because a couple people came in that knew the hostess, she made sure to seat them and never bother with my family until I made it know that I wasn’t one bit happy.

The best Asian Cuisine you’ll ever have. The food is superb and always consistently delicious. If you’re in the Pikeville area, you must go there. (We drove 2 hours in from Lexington, that’s how good it is) The food is always fresh and staff are very welcoming. They take care of the buffet all day long and there is a lot of variety. It’s a treat every time I am in town. Great job Peking. You are the best!!

Hands down the best hibachi and sushi I’ve ever had (and I’ve been to dozens). The sushi is always prepared when ordered, made with high quality, fresh ingredients. The assorted colors and arrangements make for very beautiful plating, as well. Not to mention that the service staff are very polite and prompt. A+++++++++

Hibatchi grill table…ordered chicken/rice. Presentation was great. Food was good. Didn’t care for noodles very bland and slimy. Could have used more flavor. 5 people over $200. They add in 18% tip automatically. Definitely not worth $200.

Good for a buffet. An excellent variety of food on the buffet bar. The General Tso’s chicken is tasty but the sauce is closer to a spicy barbecue sauce. The honey chicken was good. The fried donuts were excellent.
