My Dad and I went here for lunch after he’d heard from friends that the food was good. I already knew from reading other reviews that they don’t have wait staff, and all food was packaged to go. However, they do have a lot of seating and you’re encouraged to dine in if that’s your preference. The cashier was very friendly and our food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. It was all hot and very tasty, and of course with any other Chinese food restaurant, they give you enough to share, and still have some leftover. I had the General Tao’s chicken and dad had the Orange chicken, both on the lunch menu, and it came with pork friend rice, and we opted for the egg roll that was included (or you could choose soup or a canned soda). Everything was delicious and he was very happy that we now have a new place to visit on our weekly lunch dates.

We regularly use Peking as our “go-to” restaurant when we want Asian food. Their service is fast, affordable, and the staff is always friendly. The flavor of the food is superb and the Egg Rolls are the best we’ve ever had… ever. We have never eaten inside but they have sufficient seating for parties up to 5-6.

We have been coming to Peking for a long time and we absolutely love it. My go to dinners are the General Tso combo that comes with rice and egg roll or the chicken broccoli combo with white rice and egg roll. Restaurant is very clean and the staff is polite and helpful. We love the ambiance and choose to dine in often.

We are from out of town, visiting with relatives & stopped here to get a bite to eat, in the rainy weather. There were several people in front of me waiting on their order when we placed ours. We didn’t have to wait long for our order either. Food was hot and fresh. Restaurant was empty in the dining area, unsure if it was open for dining? We didn’t ask. Everything was clean and tidy.

I had the Wonton Soup and C12. Sweet & Sour Chicken Combination Plate. It was absolutely fantastic. Their roast pork is outstanding, it had a really fantastic flavor to it and wasn’t like most places where it’s really bland. The fried rice was the best I’ve had in the area since my old favorite closed. The breading on the chicken tasted really really great it wasn’t bland dough around chicken at all. It was cooked perfectly, no raw dough and crispy. Hands down best local Chinese food in Chesapeake by a wide margin out of the maybe 8 restaurants I’ve tried.
