The restaurant and server Eric was great. We decided to meet my family here for my 50th birthday after visiting the Studebaker museum. I choose this restaurant bc it looked interesting and had unique food.The food was all fresh and homemade. Love their homemade ranch and ketchup. Had the steak sandwich which was awesome and my wife got the fish platter which was great. Burgers and soup were also very fresh and tasty. We appreciate the staff and restaurant making accommodations for our big family group. Would love to come back for their Polish food. Give them a try its great food!

This was a great lunch stop off Route 20 on our way to Chicago. My husband had the pork tenderloin sandwich that reviews had commented about. He said best one he’d ever eaten. I enjoyed the cod sandwich, fresh cut fries and house made ketchup. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Great service overall. We will return again when in the area.

First time visiting here. I had found it on Google maps last year but was unable to make it then. It’s a neat little restaurant/tavern west of South Bend a little way in a small neighborhood. It’s quite the find! It’s very clean inside and I just like the overall feeling. I had the mozzarella Mariana as an appetizer. It came with bread and I assumed you put the mozzarella on it and eat it that way so that’s what I did and it was so good! The bread was seasoned I guess I’d relate it to a garlic bread style.

I also had the chicken Parmesan sandwich. Easily one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Chicken was cooked perfectly. The bun was soft, and lightly toasted I think. It had some pesto on it too which really makes it better. I’m not a wordsmith or foodie at all but if you like a good sandwich, I highly recommend this one. The fries were delicious as well. And even the ketchup I could tell was homemade I think. Everything I had was amazing!

Stopped by based on Google reviews and it didn’t disappoint! The tenderloin was great. Very juicy and heavy! French fries were great too… BUT THE BEST was the ketchup made in house! Omg… so amazing! Great service! Bartender was great! Basic menu but it was great!

The Pork Tenderloin was awesome. Most unexpected. Also tried a cup of goulash and was house made. Beef was tender and great tomato flavour. Parmesan fries were great. The thinner fries with a little skin, so good! They make their own ketchup which I didn’t know what to expect. More like a tomatoe sauce with little chunks, was very good. Less vinegar than in a regular store bought ketchup which I did welcome. The place was so clean. I normally don’t pay that much attention unless excessively dirty. This was the complete opposite. The folks really do take care. It is a no frills kinda place visually but the food was tasty, fast and I like the fact made in house.

I have been coming to Pejza’s for about 25 years. They hosted my large family when my mother passed and did their best to accommodate. They recently updated there menu Mid December 2025. I have some dishes I liked and not cared for. I wish the goulash had more paprika in it like it used to before the owner switch but it still has the same flavor, I just bring extra paprika with me. Their coconut shrimp are great. Burgers are great. Pierogies are deep fried if you are OK with that. Overall though they strive to make excellent food and take care of you.
