I was optimistic that this location would be great. Overall fast service and clean restaurant and friendly staff. However, the food is way too salty and I’m saying this as being Asian! I could barely get through my noodles even wtih some sweet chili sauce on the side. Whoever is cooking today should tone it down on the sauces

I was hungry and my flight was delayed, what better way to start my vacation than with a cold beer and a good meal. Pricing is very reasonable. Food was excellent, I had the Mongolian Beef, see pic. My server, Tara was very attentive and helpful. I was surprisingly impressed that an airport restaurant could offer delicious food with real good service and great prices. Will hit this place every time I fly out of Terminal A in Tampa.

Before I say anything else, I would not recommend Pei Wei. (Stay with me here) When I came in, there were no clean tables, and there was a five minute wait for one to be clean. Wait staff was quick to take my order, and they were very friendly. I do appreciate my server, Tara, who was very outgoing. However, once my order was taken, I soon realized how salty the food was and how off the portion sizes were. I paid over $10, and got a meal that was 3/4 rice and 1/4 chicken. I could’ve gotten the same thing from the restaurant just down the corridor for a much cheaper price. They also offered me fried rice without telling me it would be an additional charge. Thankfully, I asked. Their food is not very tasty, even for a quick snack. The atmosphere is loud, and I do not like the fact that they don’t have any paper menus, and you have to scan a QR code. Their online menu is not very user-friendly and it’s hard to navigate to see what is in what dish. They are aware about allergies, but they don’t have many options for those who are vegetarians, even though they say they do. While this place did have fast service, I would not recommend Pei Wei because of its loud atmosphere, unproportionate and salty food as well as their ridiculously high prices (even for an airport restaurant). There are plenty of other places in the airport that are much better. (If you do end up going, please request Tara as she does a great job.) See for yourself!

Was so pleased with this airport dining experience. The place is pretty comfy and spacious, you actually forget you’re at the airport. While food was tasty and better than your usual airport fast food spot, what knocked this experience out of the park was our server. She was incredibly friendly, attentive and thorough. Will definitely remember this spot for next time I pass through!

Our flight was delayed and there weren’t many food options late on a Sunday night, so we stopped at Pei Wei at the Tampa airport. The service was great and very friendly, which we really appreciated. The wonton soup was full of flavor and definitely a highlight. The rest of our dishes were just okay, nothing special. Overall, a convenient spot when options are limited and you need a quick bite.

I recently dined at Pei Wei in Tampa Airport, and while our server, Aakilah, provided excellent and attentive service, the food was a major letdown. The Thai soup was served hot but had no flavor, the Mongolian Beef arrived cold with overcooked and tasteless noodles, and the honey-seared chicken with broccoli was just as bland. I’ve enjoyed dining at other Pei Wei locations, so I had high expectations, but this experience missed the mark. You can see from my barely touched main course just how disappointing it was. Hopefully, management steps up to address these issues—otherwise, it might be time for a change.

I arrived 3/18/24 @ 9AM to catch a connecting flight.I recommend getting a to-go order instead of ordering in. They had my food ready less than 10 min. I then sat down in the area they have for guests who would like to eat their to-go orders while waiting for their flight ✈️. The food was ok, but nothing extravagant. I had the chicken lo-mein for about $12, descent price for airport entree.
