I’ve been both dining in and ordering out from this place for 25 years. The food is FANTASTIC. My favorite is the Burrito Pollo con Mole. The salads are delicious! I love their Chipotle dressing. I also love the quesadillas and the typical Mexican dishes. I’ve never taken anyone there who didn’t come back, often on their own. I even have a friend in the West village to comes up specifically. Many say it’s like California Mexican. The staff is quiet but super sweet. The atmospherel is low key but I enjoy the exposed brick and Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo prints. Very affordable!

The service was great! She was super welcoming, friendly and attentive but the food was okay. For the price ? My burrito was really cold, it was obvious they used left overs. It hardly had any meat,the rice and beans did not have much flavor but I see the potential. Maybe it was just a bad day?

I had the bistec Mexicana and it was so delicious that I ordered it again! There’s enough food for at least 2 meals. The steak has a yummy sauce to it and grilled onions and peppers. The rice and beans were excellent. I really like the atmosphere and the kind lady that took care of me and my Colombian friend, who had soup and tacos that were delicious and said that the music playing reminded her of her mom. I love Noche Mexicana 2.
