My first visit to Peggy’s 50s Diner was so cute. The Little Chickadee Salad was fresh and tasty, and Andy’s Tina Turner Tuna Sandwich was pretty good with curly fries.
Super friendly service all around — self-seating, neon, checkered floors, retro booths, and a playlist that feels like a time capsule. Loved the attached gift shop—50s souvenirs plus Hello Kitty stuff. Perfect little detour if you’re into retro kitsch.. fun vibe, solid diner bites, super friendly service, cute shop. Worth a stop if you’re nearby.

The large billboards advertising the diner caught my eye on the interstate. Had to stop by and I’m glad I did. There are 3 dining areas so there is more room once you walk through the counter area. Good, hearty food and absolutely excellent pies. Does have the vintage diner decor and the staff were very nice. If it’s warmer out I have to try the ice cream next door

We gave in and stopped by to try this place out. Somewhat nostalgic with signed pictures on the walls. A large figure/statue of Elvis with an actual guitar.

A rather large gift shop on one side with a ice cream shop attached to it. Most of the staff was wearing nostalgic type outfits.

Anyway, the menus had and offered breakfast to dinner choices, and most had you add two sides to them.

The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and got very busy quickly after we had ordered.

We had a great stop at Peggy Sue’s. The decor was great and it is a fun place to see. I don’t think I would rush back though for anything but the milkshakes. Burger was bland and I don’t think the fries or the burgers were fresh. Service was perfect and our waitress was very bubbly.

We’ve driven by Peggy Sue’s Diner numerous times on my way to Las Vegas. We finally decided to stop and give them a try. We were not disappointed! The decor was all 50’s related. It’s a blast to the past with pictures & figurines of iconic stars such as Elvis, Hepburn, the Lone Ranger, Shirley Temple, the 3 Stooges, Marilyn Monroe, & many more. Their service was excellent and their food was very good! I recommend giving them a try – you won’t be disappointed.

Ive Passed by this spot dozens of times on our way to Vegas and had never stopped to try. Im glad I did, as I stepped into the doors it was like being transported back in time. The atmosphere was awesome and the place is a-lot bigger inside than it looks from the 15 freeway. The food was good and plentiful with BIG portions . The service was excellent and the staff super friendly and helpful. Im bummed that I hadn’t tried it sooner. If you are making the trip through Yermo anytime soon, make time for this gem, Well worth the visit.

Nice spot to hit up on your way to Vegas. Food is ok, its nothing fancy but the place itself is really cool. They are really busy on the weekends. Steak and eggs with biscuit and gravy $20 and omelet was about $18 with biscuits and gravy.

If you’re cruising from California to Vegas, this vintage 1950s roadside diner is an absolute must-stop. The classic retro vibe alone makes it worth pulling over, but the food is what really seals the deal.

The eggs are fresh and perfectly fluffy, and the world-famous pancakes live up to the hype — light, delicious, and exactly what you want on a road trip. Service is friendly, the atmosphere feels like stepping back in time, and it’s the perfect break from the drive.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable, old-school diner experience on the way to Vegas! ✨

Doing the drive between Vegas and LA you will pass this place and wonder whats it like? So this time we decided to actually stop and try it out. The interior is very different from most places and its much bigger that you think when you first enter. We went for sandwiches (BLT & Turkey sandwich), fries curls and onion rings as sides. We also had sodas and their strawberry shake. We liked it, proper craftmanship and the shake was great! Next time I urge you to actually stop here – I recommend this place.
