I’ve been going here on and off for a year now… VERY hit or miss. They do not par bake their pie crusts… so the quiche and some of the cream pies are soggy and gross. It’s too bad their taste is good but the crust is slimy and disgusting. IF it’s a pie they don’t need to par bake it tastes great. PAR BAKE YOUR PIE CRUSTS PLEASE!!!!!

Best place in Columbia for homemade pies of two sizes and all types of fabulous flavors made homemade every day so get there while they still have some. We selected a German chocolate, blackberry, and peach praline in the small pies. Then, I especially stopped to bring some of their savory pot pies home. The southwest chicken, the buffalo chicken, and my favorite pot roast pot pie.
If you’ve never tried this place I highly recommend it when you’re in town or you live in town. Support your locally-owned businesses so we keep them in our communities.

We have gotten pies many times and they are always very good.
This time we got a caramel apple and a French Chocolate silk pie. Both tasted very good.
One place we almost always go to when we get up to Columbia. Taste like pies your mom, aunt or grandma would make or any other favorite relative. Yum!!!

BEST pies in CoMo! We treat ourselves on holidays, birthdays, special occasions, and when our family visits. Now when I make trips to my mom’s home in Hannibal, she requests that I bring her a Peggy Jeans Coconut Cream pie. We haven’t had a pie choice we didn’t like. My fav’s are the German Chocolate & the Strawberry. Friendly & helpful staff too. Now I want some pie after writing this review.

I’ve eaten their pies for years and always been pleased with their quality and the service of their staff. But I want to take a minute and thank them for their recent help. My mom had just received a diagnosis that gave her new dietary restrictions. I called and asked what things I could order given those restrictions and they found us a delicious lemon pie. To top it off, they even called back to double check if eggs were ok because we hadn’t discussed that possibility. I was touched by their efforts and encourage anyone who hasn’t popped by to give them a try!
Also, their pie tasting is very fun!

I guess you could call me a PJP Super Fan. I’ve put PJP on a pedestal and I plan to leave them there. First, have you ever made a pie from scratch? Because they’ve made thousands and I trust they know what they are doing. Pie making is an art and they’ve perfected it. Obviously, the pies are delicious.
I rocked the boat and served wedding pie instead of cake. PJP made me both full size pies and jelly jar pies for each guest. Everyone was raving! One of my best friends rounded the tables at the end of night and put uneaten pies in her purse because you do.not.waste. these pies. Personal favorites? Peach praline, you make my life complete. I also adore Chocolate Bourbon Pecan. Ok, let’s not forget White Chocolate Strawberry. Jeanne (the “Jean”) created the recipe for the WCStrawberry and it is truly remarkable. These fabulous ladies are a riot (read Rebecca’s blog and you’ll be shouting “PREACH” to your computer screen) and their prowess in pie making is sure to bring PJP to #worldpiedomination . Have you had a slice?

I was in Columbia recently for my mom’s business trip in Columbia and I stopped by Peggy Jean’s Pies! OMG I walked in and it was like heaven on earth! The aroma of the pies and the atmosphere was amazing! I felt welcomed and the nice lady at the counter was very helpful/pleasant! I purchased the White Chocolate Strawberry Pie and it was absolutely the best pie I have ever tasted hands down. This pie is really living up to one of the “BEST PIES IN AMERICA by Food Network”. I will definitely go back to Peggy Jean’s Pies when I come back to Columbia or when I am passing through Columbia! If you have a sweet tooth please please please try Peggy Jean’s Pies out!

We had Peggy jean pies at our wedding and they were amazing. The strawberry rhubarb is probably my favorite, with butterscotch bourbon pecan being a close second. The quiche is also really good, we only got the bacon quiche.

I visit often over lunch on Wednesday to get a treat for my wife. Peggy Jean is usually there. Every pie I’ve tried has been great, and Peggy is just a sweet woman. She has day-old pies half off, but the fresh ones are reasonably priced too.
