Been dining here for 10+ years. Service is always top shelf and the food is consistently good. Best thing, no matter what time of day, everything on the menu is available.
So he can have breakfast (the steak skillet is his favorite) and I can have lunch (been on a Reuben kick). Today I had their delicious Mac and cheese for my side… Yummy!

My Dad and I stopped in for breakfast on our way to Lawrence, KS and definitely were fueled up after visiting Pegah’s. I ordered a customized egg white breakfast bowl with a side of grits. The food was solid. The service was good. Pegah’s is seemingly a KC institution for breakfast that warrants exploration!

So just several different things. Server was extremely nice. Mushrooms were good as appetizer. The Potato soup was a no go, waffle fries a couple were still stuck together which made them still cold in the middle. The lemon in the water was soured. The roll was not great had a weird taste. The chicken fried chicken was ok just a little salty. Chicken salad was ok did have some brown lettuce little bit more than we liked for sure. Again the server was super polite and they did refund the soup!

Were in town for a conference and our friends picked this place on a whim. Wife and I had waffles. Ok – seriously – these are the best tasting waffles anywhere! And being from Colorado, we are not used to younger wait staff being so friendly and helpful, but the two girls giving us recommendations were very courteous and well spoken.
Looking around the place and saw folks from all walks of life just enjoying time together, laughing, talking, and relaxing. Very family-friendly restaurant.

The Shawnee location generously donated a meal to a community trauma reboot recovery course. Feeding participants allows them to come and focus on processing their trauma to live a healthier happy life. The food provided was delicious and served nice and hot. The generosity and hospitality of Pegahs was outstanding! I also visit this location frequently and I have never been disappointed by anything I have ordered. The food is always delicious!

Pegahs is a locally owned KC breakfast spot serving solid classics! This location is in the downtown Shawnee area which makes it a nice place to eat breakfast and then check out the surrounding shops nearby. The inside is your standard breakfast joint.
Our servers were very friendly, there were just a couple instances of forgotten requests that were quickly rectified once we said something! If this is your first time there, at the end of your meal you take your ticket up to the cashier instead of paying at the table.
The food was delicious, I got my go-to which is the chicken and waffles. They hand bread their tenders, which are moist and flavorful. The waffle was crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Overall, this is a solid crowd pleaser and I always take my out of state friends here for a cheaper tasty meal.

1st time here. Plenty of parking. Clean restrooms. Huge portions. The food was delicious! No issue with substitutions. We ordered one of the breakfast specials with a biscuit, eggs and hash browns and a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. Again great food and an enjoyable meal.
